The first time this video was posted, I didn't take the time to watch the first part. Even though I couldn't understand a word, I could see that his mentor was showing him how to breathe properly, trying to maybe explain "head voice"? Technique was obviously important to being able to sing this song properly. Can you give us a short recap as to what they were discussing. I kept hearing the woman host asking him if it was difficult?? Did he say no? Yeah the vocal coach was helping him with his singing technique. I'll translate it later for you guys, the video is quite funny actually, it's a shame some of the jokes won't translate that well  Thanks for the background on the show, fallenangel!! Seems like a cool concept and comedians seem like the perfect people for this (they're usually very good at imitation). The guy did pretty well, they just overdid the eye makeup quite a bit. He didn't look like Adam. He looked more like a woman dressed as Adam (like when the host of the "Early Show" dressed as him for Halloween in 2009). I would like to hear what the judges were saying though. I forgot to mention that in my post, one of the judges had some nice things to say about Adam, I'll translate that too. I did a happy dance in my head when that happened 'cause he's like our portuguese version of Simon Cowell (just a bit more likeable and less cranky) so having him praise Adam when he has commented about the (lack of) talent from some other artists is great. I'm having some trouble with my Internet connection right now but I'll translate and try to post it later  |

Doesn't he have something with Sam Sparrow? Yes, but I think that song is locked down as a definite for the album. In the Q&A I just watched, it sounded like Adam was talking about a duet with a different artist and there's still a question of whether or not the song will make the CD. ETA: Adam called the vocals with Sam a "duet" in an interview a while ago, but I think he was probably just trying to deflect the duet question at the time. Like rihannsu said, it's more likely that Sam did backing vocals on the song rather than a true duet. What interview was that? I remember others calling it a duet and Adam correcting them but I don't think I ever heard Adam call it a duet. |

Just remember with the March Madness vote that as far as we know there is no benefit to Adam winning. No increased airplay, no on air award, nada - zip - zilch. RCA Ed had said that RCA strongly encourages fan participation in these types of polls. Especially ones like MTV and VH1. He said they help with visibility and keeping Adam's name out there. When fans of other groups go and do their voting they see Adam's name. If you stop voting MTV, VH1 will stop putting Adam in them. The more of these type of things that Adam wins the better. It's Adam's fans that have kept his presence know throughout the down time. DJ's from several stations and I do mean several have pointed out that when they tweet out anything about Adam or print anything it goes viral. So they keep doing it. This is how Adam remains relevant. To say you going to pass on these polls is counter-productive. As fans there is limited amount of things we can do to push Adam along in his career. The biggest thing Adam has going for him right now are the fact that his fans are BSC.....I mean passionate. |
