Re the bold parts: Something smells fishy to me, interview after interview of IDKs, although Adam does make the best of the situation, being as charming and sweet as ever about it. IDK Qs: When will the album drop? / What is the second single? / Is there going to be a duet on the album? / also all touring related Qs Not too many questions, but they are of vital importance. I see it differently. What is the second single? Why on earth would he start talking about a 2nd single when he's actively on promo singing his first single and it's still climbing the charts and the MV is moving up on VH1 and they're clearly still committed to it? That would be like saying they're done with it and obviously they're not. Maybe fans are ready for a new single but BTIKM still has legs. Is there going to be a duet on the album? LOL if there's a duet it's obviously going to be a closely-kept secret and if it's a big name there will be a huge announcement about it and lots of media attention, etc etc. So, #1 I think Adam does know whether there is one or not, #2 if the answer was "no" he would probably not hesitate to say so (therefore I'm guessing there is one), and #3 there's no way that Adam is going to tell some random fan or random DJ in the middle of the country the big news about a duet. Which would obviously create a distraction from what he's doing right now. When will the album drop? Well, as soon as Adam said Maypril I figured it was May for sure, so I'm actually happy to hear that he's mentioning May. Again, if they're still sorting out the international logistics (and obviously they are even based on Shoshanna's tweet Sunday) then they probably have it narrowed down to some 2-3 week range and are just waiting til things are in place. I have no doubt that once the date is set, we'll have a promo blitz and Adam will be everywhere (including on Idol) letting everyone know when the album will drop. Maybe it's because I had a lovely 4-day weekend, but I'm feeling pretty zen about things  I need to borrow Reihmer's emotion here  NoAngel I agree with your statements and I think there is a duet planned too. I'm going to be ZEN about it all. too!  ETA: Curious if Adam got his IPhone from FedX today? I've lost my phone before and you really do feel lost without it! :-/ |

I hereby pronounce NoAngel for Adam's spokesperson/voicekeeper, Reihmer could be his photographer/videographer, Gelly his PA/archivist/secretary, and if I remember correctly, some people here volunteered to be his water-bearers. I volunteer as a receiver of his tongue-diving escapades, Sauli wouldn't get jealous because I'm a lady, right |

I've been pretty zen about the album release date but now I'm starting to think about the tour! Yikes. If Trespassing drops in May (best case scenario at this point) what time frame are we looking at for a tour? 6 months? More?
I am certainly hoping for a 2nd single before May - at least for CHR because right now not much is happening with BTIKM on CHR. There, I said it.

There, I said it. , I am thinking that we will see the tour in 2013...he said they intend to "milk" this as much as possible, I have no idea what that means of course, but it sounds like there is a "wait and see" policy again... and not much rush...just setting my own expectations... ;D |

It's ok, I am pretty positive the will release a CHR single before album drop. I am certain RCA is well aware Adam needs CHR presence before album drop and it will most certainly coordinate with the same single being released in the UK. They are adjusting as they see fit to give Adam the chance he deserves and I am really glad for this. It shows they are committed to this era. Do you really think RCA doesn't know the potential they have with Adam? His international base, the Queen connection, and well, him? I just think that the possibilities for Adam are so unique they are feeling their way but I believe Adam is a train that cannot be stopped. Still think the breakthrough this era will come from the UK and European and Asian markets. This will be exciting (if nerve racking) to watch. |
