Well, here's the irony of ironies, the reports are that KC101.3 interview that was released today was NOT, in fact, recorded today in Kansas City, but was shot last week in Connecticut. KC101.3 is a Connecticut station, SOOOOO it's still possible something was decided either Friday at RCA or last night at Shosh's meeting. Sony just released Train's tracklisting. It is also a worldwide release, with the U.S. dropping April 17 (so that would likely rule that day out for Adam). If you want to see how the countries flow, they list them all here: trainline.com/profiles/blogs/california-37-tracklisting-album-preorder-starts-tomorrow-march-2My guess is May 15; Carrie drops May 1 and Chris Brown May 8. I really think not having a release date causes issues in other places – when you've committed, you KNOW you need to make things happen. When you don't have a set date, it allows large companies such as RCA too much latitude to shuffle things around. As I've said before, movies set a release date a year in advance and no matter WHAT happens during that time, they hit that date somehow, some way. And these things have a LOT more variables and moving parts than an album launch.

Yikes!! Unless, of course, they just link the Idol appearance for single promo. I wonder when the East Coast talk shows go on hiatus? Of course, there is the GMA summer concerrt series too!

Yes, we have all the morning news shows still – TODAY also does a summer concert series and there's Live with Kelly (they take last two weeks of August off and may take some more since she doesn't have a co-host to fill in while she's on vacation). I STILL want him to co-host that, but not something that's likely until album drops. It's not uncommon for her co-hosts to do three days in a row. SNL will be going on hiatus pretty soon after, but there is still SYTYCD and DWTS for a couple of months. He is going to have to leave by third week in June to go rehearse w/Queen in UK though. May 15 is shaving it close for a lot of TV, IMO.
