 Sorry this must be so wrong, but I'm LMAO at this comment! Yeah this Jordan is a hoot and a half on twitter. And is pretty controversial at times, as well. Funny that my favorite seems to be everyone's least fave, lol. Ignoring the lyrics, my fave is Naked loved, followed by Trespassing then Cuckoo. And whoever commented about the lack of the bass guitar rhythm of Cuckoo, that was on the live version, is what's making it the third choice, or else it'll be close second of first. Gah, I really LOVE these three songs! And as for the other,, um.. NCOE can go somewhere, which means that it'll probably be a single. But yeah it sounds bad to me, and like someone else said, it sounds like a remix, a bad remix at that, so yeah.

My 9yo daughter has been singing Trespassing all day (but she says "bleep" instead of "ass" lol). She was singing it while riding her bike around and around the block. Every time she flew by, I'd hear another verse.
My hubby likes NCOE and did not guess it was a BM song.

Maybe I don't hear Bruno in NCOE because I avoided listening to the demo?... to me, it just sounds like Adam. If no one had told me BM wrote it I would never have guessed it. Same here. And I love it. |

I really like the Bruno song - but that's what it IS to me...THE BRUNO SONG. I made the mistake of listening to the demo and I don't see much difference in Adam's version. BUT I think it would be very successful on TOP 40 - Bruno fans are squeeing all over it (and he's got a heluva lot of fans!), radio loves and plays Bruno........maybe this would be a good 2nd single......
..............then, with a smash under his belt - hit 'em with Trespassing and so on and so forth until you've got five or six number 1 singles from your album. Just like Katy! ;D

NCOE just sounds too "formula" to me (which is probably why it will be picked). It's a toss up of Cuckoo and Trespassing for me. |

I love the songs Adam chose and though, like with FYE, the songs he wrote will usually be my favorites mainly because they are so signature Adam ("Strut" is the one I wouldn't necessarily put in this category; though I like it, I don't feel his uniqueness in it.) I DO get that other people hear Bruno in NCOE, but I really think that's a temporary transition. Just like I can't even imagine Claude singing BTIKM now, NCOE will become Adamized and yes, though I HATE to try to second-guess U.S. radio (it's a fool's folly), NCOE might be the "safe" choice there. HOWEVER, we've done this "safe choice" thing already and I am waffling between, "Let's just blow the doors off!!" and of course, the "Ugh, radio is just such a pack of predictable chickenshits ... how does he try to walk the line (never turning back!)?" My conclusion is ... I don't know. What I DO know is that this music is EFFING GOOOD and it's different and fun and catchy and complex and he'll sing it differently every time. In a way it's like me worrying that my musical prodigy daughter won't get chosen for "Tantrums and Tiaras." ( for you, Sauli). :-/ Like really? How do we even try to reconcile the two? |

Which, is totally hilarious, because it was my least favorite when I first heard it in in Austria, haha. |
