I love FYE and have played it endlessly. BUT this album really is more current!! Not sure what will happen with the IDIOT PDs from radio stations, but Adam's already passionate and rabid fans (as we are sometimes called) are just gonna become more passionate and rabid, with the amazing music that Adam is creating. Also, we are going to grow in size, radio or not! Hopefully, hitting internationally--with this quality of music, it HAS to--will finally drive US radio to play Adam without a fight!

I don't know if pop radio would embrace Trespassing, but it would be perfect timing for both the album drop (good way to push the album of the same name) and the Queen concerts (because you know anything Adam will take at least that long to peak).
Honestly, I don't care what gets picked as a single as long as RCA has done their homework and CHR stations will spin.
Oh, and whatever they pick, Adam better get to sing it on AI!

It has been a while since I've been here but now that Adam has new music, I found myself drawn back.
I was so disappointed in BTIKM (at least in terms of radio play) so I was a little worried about the album but what I've heard since is much better, IMO.
For me, I loved Trespassing the most the second I heard it. It made me want to listen over and over. At first, I understood people's fears that it wasn't a good radio song but the studio version of it changed my mind. I think it'd absolutely be a great radio song. It's similar and catchy enough to things I've heard on the radio yet different enough to stand out. Cuckoo is also catchy but it doesn't have the unique stand out factor that I'm looking for.
The other two songs are less appealing to me, which, knowing Sony, means they're probably frontrunners to be the next single, lol.
As with all his songs, they really sound better live.

Radio is such a mystery. A year and a half ago, I would have never dreamed that my local KISS station would be playing Adele every hour. So, who knows.
Maybe Adams management/label needs to get creative and get Trespassing into a commercial (kind of like Kelly's Stronger). Get the song in the public consciousness first, and then attack radio. Yeah, I know it's not that easy...
