If there is anyone here in the SF Bay area who wants to see Adam, call Jane the DJ at 97.3, she just gave passes to two of my friends. The number there is 1 800 400 3697!! GOOOOOOOO!!!! I'm not even kidding. She just gave my BFF two passes and my other friend two passes!! Just talk to her. Like now, she seems to be in a very giving mood!! Thank you for this, suebluern!!!! Not caught up on the thread, but two things: 1) for Readon/all St. Louis peeps: SusieFierce Yaay!! RT @whispernglitter: SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Just heard BTIKM on St. Louis radio 100.7!!! YES!!!  2) SCROLL ALERT! It's old news now, but I'm going to go ahead and post my final recap of Adam in Lawrence 105.9KissFM on Monday here in the thread, as it's the fastest way for 4MS to grab it for archives. BTW, the euphoria is still with me--rekindled by Lynne's AMAZING recap of SLC! You got to have a conversation too, Lynne! What great questions! Isn't he MAHvelous?! ;D I ran in real quick...I have to leave again....but I saw this and I have to say SHADOW AND HEATHCLIFF DID YOU SEE THIS?!!!!! BTIKM WAS PLAYED ON 100.7 TODAY!!!! YAY!!!! I'm so tired and I haven't been checking Atop for a few days, because I feel that it needs my undivided attention and fully a functioning brain. Which is still not the case, lol, but everyone was thanking Lynne for the recap, so I decided to read it. It was beautiful, Lynne. Not just what happened, the facts and questions and all, but the tone of it, the feelings seeping through every line. It made me feel wonderful. I could tell two things from it, that you love Adam as honestly and respectfully as he deserves, and that you are a wonderful human being yourself. Thank you so much. Aw, thank you so very much. What a lovely thing to say! I think you are just feeling how wonderful the experience was for me. It made me realize how important it is for me to make space in my life to go a little crazy and be cuckoo from time to time. I tend to be rather dreadfully responsible, lol, but that has been changing since Adam in a *mostly* good way, lol. ...side eying two sets of essays I need to finish grading by tomorrow . |

Ugh. Why is Entertainment Weekly not on Adam's side anymore? And what the hell does "have chart-topping pomprockers fun stolen his Queen-esque rock mojo?" even mean? Am I the only one who can't make sense of that sentence? I don't understand the sentence even after the explanation of who /what "fun" is.... However and very unfortunately I agree with them re BTIKM... Which makes me skeeerd about NCOE even more... TP or Cuckoo FTW!!!!! And the fact that they rated Freaking Clay Aiken higher than Adam! Yeah, they don't like him for some unfathomable reason. I wonder if they've heard the other album tracks - no way in hell they'd use "drippy bore" for Cuckoo, Trespassing or Naked Love. But they might come up with worse disses. If they want to diss him they'll find a way. "However and very unfortunately I agree with them re BTIKM...

I don't agree with the first part (I do like BTIKM although it's too SAFE) but I 100% agree with the last sentence. NCOE will be BTIKM 2.0 imo. It IS catchy - but SAFE once again! That is NOT who Adam is. Sorry, but this has me mad as a hatter! |
