Melisende ahhh... thanks for the recap!....I saw your happy face and banter in the video!!! Made all that travelling so worthwhile. I noticed the eyeliner.....That is so strange that he wore make-up as he has looked so natural lately. I am a fan of the natural. For others who have had the chance for hugs and starry at his amazing eyes ...a question... ... Did he have make-up on when you met him during other promos? I wondered if he went out last night and rolled out this a.m. with leftover eyeliner...

Fionamama Momtomany - wonderful post. Love! That's what it's all about. Anxious to meet you and your DH at Knebworth. My DH is pretty amazing as well. We'll all have to share a toast to men that will come with their wives to a Queen concert... IN EUROPE!!!! I would like to add my "rate the music" story to the others that have been posted. I was tutoring my 12 1/2 year old granddaughter in Algebra last night. We had to go over 4 sections. We were in the room with the computer and after the first section I said that I had 4 new Adam songs for her to listen to and critique. That we'd play one after each section. A little background, my DGD is very hip. Loves to sing and dance. Listens to the radio all the time. Does air quitar at school and is the choreographer for her group. When I first noticed Adam on Idol she got caught up with me. I gave her Allison's CD and Adam's CD when they came out and she loved both of them. She plays club soccer and used to listen to Sure Fire Winners on her way to games. She saw Glam Nation in Costa Mesa and loved it. HOWEVER, she's become a little too cool for Adam this last year and has "moved on" recently. She likes him okay, but Katy Perry, Adele, Bruno, and many others (new to me) are more her thing this last year. I told her that one of the songs was written by Bruno Mars and to see if she could guess which one then I played Coukoo and she said she really liked it. We did another section of algebra and I started to move on and she reminded me it was time to do another song. I played a little of Cuckoo again and then Naked Love. She started dancing to Cuckoo and kept on through Naked Love saying it was really good. She was singing Coukoo as we started back on the studying. Another section of Algebra, then NCOE. She guessed that it was the Bruno song and liked it. Last section, last song. I replayed a little of the first 3 and then played Trespassing. By then she was going nuts dancing and REALLY LIKED Trespassing. She could really dance to it well and at one point said - Wow, I feel like I'm cheerleading. In between time, she played 3 songs for me and I rated them 1-3. I told her she needed to rate Adam's songs. She said she couldn't. They were all soooo good. I think she liked Trespassing the most but thought maybe Cuckoo should be on the radio first. She like the Bruno song least - I think she felt a little bad about betraying him that way, LOL - but the others were more fun. So, a very good report from a younger age group and TRUST ME, I would have been able to tell if she was just humoring me. I got that kind of reaction when I told her I had the songs for her to rate, but I could tell she really enjoyed them and definitely could not keep from dancing! YAY Wow - sorry for being so long winded. Oh well, it's late. There's probably hardly anyone here anyway. 8-)

Just coming on... So much good stuff today! Hurray for May 15th!
Fun that someone got partial video of my Adam promo!
Love the way Adam defends his fans when the DJ says they are crazy and he says crazy good!
Finally played the snippets for my husband tonight, who listens to pop songs mainly when he jogs but doesn't like them all that much in general.
Here is what he said about what tracks he thinks would be hits:
1. Right away said they should release Cuckoo next; it is a big hit song that couldn't have more of a poppy, fun feel. He can imagine everyone shouting cuckoo at concerts.
2. Second choice Naked Love, he really likes it but thinks people will still freak out hearing Adam sing that.
3. Bruno Song... On first listen not as catchy as the other two.
4. Trespassing- He thinks it isn't quite as contemporary as the other ones.
So that is his non stan take. As a whole, he thinks they are really fun and dancey, but he thinks he will prefer the ballads because that is what he liked best on the other album. He LOVES Outlaws of Love and he also LOVES BTIKM and thinks that is one of his favorite ones he has ever heard from Adam.
So go figure. Some of us like BTIKM. I like it, too. And I don't find it boring. In fact, I think it is really beautiful.
I pretty much love them all. I adore trespassing, and naked love makes me happy. But I am easy that way, lol. Cuckoo gets in my head and NCOE is my least favorite, but I still think Adam's vocal on it is pretty.

Fionamama - I'm a new member here from the Bay Area too, and I'm trying hard to get in, but it looks like you need nimble fingers and perserverance and luck. If I do get lucky, I'll let you know as none of my personal friends and family (except my son in SoCal) are really into Adam like we are. Hang in there and know that you're not alone with those of us still trying.

Report from the Trespassing non-release party in Atlanta. I am blown away by the people I have been privileged to meet due to ATop. What a fun, remarkable group of interesting people. The evening was spent eating the wonderful dinner prepared by smokeyvera plus enough snacks and sweets to gain 10 pounds in a few hours. The party spread out through several rooms of smokey's new house, which she has pulled together in record time and a lot of elbow grease. Each small grouping had interesting conversations going about Adam, of course, but also about so many other things. These folks are SMART and eclectic. Of course, we also watched some of the most recent Adam interviews and performances in smokey's entertainment room.
I had to bow out to come home and feed the puppies, catch up on ATop and crash before resuming the party tomorrow at Mayumi's. Oh, BTW, if you are wondering about the new thread, Q3 is still partying at Smokey's, so I don't know if/when she will get a chance to break away and take care of that. (Wonderful to meet you, Q3.)
Finally, Smokey has the steepest uphill driveway in the contiguous United States. She cautioned us to not attempt to drive up it, but to park on the street. Sage advice, except that you then had to WALK UP a driveway that has a 90 degree incline. And then, you had to climb steps up to the doorway. Good news? Smokey doesn't need to buy a gym membership. A couple of reps on that driveway and your exercise routine is complete. Do you think it will make up for the mountain of good food she served?

8toinfinity -- Great post and I love the review you did -- Adam as incentive to finish algebra! If I would have had that kind of incentive, I probably would have done better in math!
Cassie -- I'm so glad you had a great time at the party and wish I could have been there! We do have amazing members here and i look forward to meeting folks this spring at Adam's release party in Seattle with some Atopers and others, as well as hanging out with the wild wise women at Burning Man!
