Feel the need to defend Angelina a bit. WE asked her whether she thought Adam would get a better reception in the UK this time around, and if the radio stations were ready to jump on board and play his music. WE ASKED for her opinion. She thought that BTIKM was not a good choice for a single in the UK. Not the kind of music being played there. In her opinion, neither is NCOE. TP or Cuckoo would be a better fit, but the problem remains about getting airplay. Their target audience is kids 18-24 and Adam is too old at 30. :  They play limited foreign artists, and have to have a compelling reason to choose someone. She does think that after Adam appears with Queen and blows people's minds, he will gain acceptance in the UK as an artist. Angelina is not a music marketing person in the UK, any more than most of us are. Yet, we all feel free to offer our opinions, sometimes unsolicited. And, WE ASKED HER for her opinion. Yes, she is an opera singer of some renown, and a highly respected vocal coach. She has been performing on stage for a large majority of her life, and is surrounded by other performers. I, for one, greatly appreciate her taking the time to Skype with us and share her perspectives on his voice and performance ability. I found her stories about the London showcase fascinating. Her insight on his vocal technique invaluable. Her discussion about the energy flow out from Adam and his ability to also draw the audience in to him, and her narrative about the energy/atmospheric charge he generates was wonderful to hear. Angelina is a true vocal expert AND a true Glambert. She is working hard to get the word out about what an extraordinary artist he is. I love to hear anything she has to say. |

I honestly have not had a moment of worry about this album or Adam. He is in love, has a great family and friends, has almost complete creative freedom, can afford to shop whenever he wants.... I really do not think Adam wants or needs his fans to worry -- I think he needs his fans to support him, and to appreciate his performances, and to buy his music. JMHO YMMV Oh I certainly support him. Just doubled my order with Amazon. I just needed to be brought off the ledge. Guess, panic sets in, when I am super tired. Awww Smokey, it happens to all of us some times, in some ways, about some one or some thing we care about. Worry can spin off of deep caring now and then. Now you've got your balance back, so all is well.  peace&love |

I've been very busy in RL to do more than an occasion check of twitter for days. I got on the computer just in time for the livestream today and that perfect performance. How is he even real? Smokey, this is for you, girl.  |

Didn't mean to stir up a hornet's nest, but I felt this forum was a good place to discuss my anxiety and that you would talk me off the ledge. I feel badly that Angelina was raked over the coals, becasue she is lovely.

Don't take me wrong,I really like all of them.I listening many times they all are different characters like Adam say the is something for every one.Like for example for me is:Chokehold,Naked Love,Cuckoo,Trespassing and the rest.I'm not music expert I'm only person who love the music and appreciate real voice which moved me in many different ways.I Think when the album come out more people will recognize how amazing our boy is.
I like to add the best for me is Adam's all acoustic performance and those with out microphone they are really amazing, this way we can really enjoy and feel this unique vocal.Magic!

We wanted a release date for the album..check.. Next the second single coming up... soon to be checked.
I think maybe we should all take a deep breath and stop angsting.. me included.I think I'll turn my attention to my kids with all my concerns about their lives. Of course they wouldn't take my hand wringing for more than one second. That's what's so good about worrying about Adam,it's virtual.

I'm wondering why she's saying that BTIKM isn't a good choice for a single in the UK when it has been made amply clear that they are not releasing BTIKM in the UK? Is she just agreeing with that decision? And since we have absolutely no evidence yet of what the second single will be, I'd propose that it's a bit soon to start handwringing over NCOE being a giant, worldwide flop. |
