WWFM....really....not a new song...WUT? >:( I tried sooooooo hard to like NCOE but I just think it is boring. And it sounds like BM.... I want Adam to sound like Adam. *ducking* Yeah, that's the truth. ??? Me too!!!!!!!!! I am with you 100%! #FreeAdam'sMusic !!!! They took photo with four people at a time. When Willowgarden and my time came (lucky gal she got right next to Adam and got a hug:-) but anyway, after the photo she asked what's next single and he said I don't know yet we haven't decided and I said I vote for Trespassing or Cuckoo and he said thank you good to know... That was the sum total of my exchange with him but after the WWFM thing, I just had to say something about the ones we didn't get... |

Oh, btw, for us poor pathetic saps who were stuck doing mandatory training this weekend instead of partying or even listening to the livestream (#pityparty)...... WHAT WAS THE FULL ANSWER TO WHAT ADAM WOULD SAVE FROM A BURNING BUILDING??!! First thing he would save is Sauli ;D Second thing is his laptop which has all his songs (I'll help you with that, Adam ...) He didn't know what the third things would be. Someone from the audience shouted "mascara" and Adam made a face and said really?! He could get mascara for $3.99 at Rite-Aid. Then he said maybe he'd save his python boots that he was wearing since he couldn't get them from Rite-Aid.  BTW, I am also on team #teamanythingbetterthanNakedLove ;D Sorry reihmer! |

I just have this gut nauseous feeling, that RCA is fucking with Adam. Maybe it was only a 2 record deal. Doesn't Kris get 3. Maybe they doing everything to make sure this album fails, so they can release him from his contract. Holding up the album for the ratty BM song. Probably gonna be the 2nd single. Career over, no No.1's, release from contract. Talk me off the ledge folks, cause I'm in full panic mode here. Wow. Dude, breathe. I have no idea what is panicking you so much, but I don't think it's justified. The label has invested a fuckload of money into Adam's album and it makes no sense for them to want him to fail. But didn't we all know that BTIKM wasn't cut out for the UK anyway and it wasn't being released there for that reason? Seems like they're paving the way for breaking him out with single #2 whatever it is. Sorry, but it's gonna be a cold day in hell before I take an opera singer's opinion on how a record label is handling a pop singer's career. LOL jfc. Seriously? Ugh. WELL Thank you NoAngel . What brought this on... At the listening party we skyped with Angelina. Her thoughts: BTIKM - not a good first single. NOCE worse. Cuckoo and Tresspassing much better. She is in the music business and has lots of connections. She is a total fangirl, but also very realistic. She confirmed my thoughts, and it is sending me chills. Other statements also indicate, not successful promotion in UK either. So doing the BM bland song tonite just triggered something, and sent me into panic mode. IMHO, Adam has had a great promotion in the UK.. Wait until Queen,then the promotion will be everywhere.We were all jealous over the PR over there and wanted the same PR in the States.Now he is all over the place here and we're worried about the UK? I think RCA knows just how great Adam is,but they are so worried about radio that they are not thinking straight. Trespassing is a great album from the songs we have heard ,so I think it will be a success no matter what single comes next. I love Cuckoo,but there is no sure bet when it comes to radio. If I had to make a bet on Adam and his career ,I would bet all I had on his continuing success for many ,many years to come. Ups and downs,highs and lows, Adam is and will continue to be a star. I just feel it in my bones. So I'm not worried about RCA dropping Adam,I'm only worried that they won't give him his flying license.THAT SUMS IT UP FOR ME... |

Feel the need to defend Angelina a bit. WE asked her whether she thought Adam would get a better reception in the UK this time around, and if the radio stations were ready to jump on board and play his music. WE ASKED for her opinion. She thought that BTIKM was not a good choice for a single in the UK. Not the kind of music being played there. In her opinion, neither is NCOE. TP or Cuckoo would be a better fit, but the problem remains about getting airplay. Their target audience is kids 18-24 and Adam is too old at 30. : They play limited foreign artists, and have to have a compelling reason to choose someone. She does think that after Adam appears with Queen and blows people's minds, he will gain acceptance in the UK as an artist. Angelina is not a music marketing person in the UK, any more than most of us are. Yet, we all feel free to offer our opinions, sometimes unsolicited. And, WE ASKED HER for her opinion. Yes, she is an opera singer of some renown, and a highly respected vocal coach. She has been performing on stage for a large majority of her life, and is surrounded by other performers. I, for one, greatly appreciate her taking the time to Skype with us and share her perspectives on his voice and performance ability. I found her stories about the London showcase fascinating. Her insight on his vocal technique invaluable. Her discussion about the energy flow out from Adam and his ability to also draw the audience in to him, and her narrative about the energy/atmospheric charge he generates was wonderful to hear. Angelina is a true vocal expert AND a true Glambert. She is working hard to get the word out about what an extraordinary artist he is. I love to hear anything she has to say. YES, this needs to be repeated. I enjoy listening to her thoughts.. |
