Wow, didn't Archie fans get his second single up higher than that? Well, I guess the song will have to make it based off casual fans, and nonfans who end up hearing it and likes the song. I have to admit that even though it sounds alright, the lyrics are cheesy as hell, (Stand up for the vision of love?! ???) But lyrics don't really matter on pop music anyway. And not to get into any NAL bashing or whatever, but the way that RCA just seems to be throwing this song out there it's like....they barely have much of an investment in it. Kind of almost like if it makes it, it makes it, but if it doesn't, it won't be too much of a problem for them. Seems very...Leeish to me, I don't know.. But I hope he does well though. If I was RCA, this would be a do-or-die single. If it does well, he gets an album - if it flops, he's out the door! Sorry if this is off-topic, but why is Kris even getting a second album? Is is because of LLWD? I'm wondering the same thing about Cook too. I would have thought they would let him go after his second outing. It does help my fears though if Adam doesn't do well with his second outing.

Kris had a very good selling single. David Cook had a very succcessful first album with 2 paltinum selling singles and one gold single. David also had a very successful solo tour. I guess RCA thinks they can still succeed.

That's so great but it just reminds me even more that radio sucks! Won't play the song even though people obviously want to hear it and buy it when they do!

I have a question. If radio won't play BTIKM, what makes us think they are going to play any of the rest of his songs. Will an uptempo song really make a huge difference because IIHY didn't do as well as WWFM. I just don't understand what it takes. Is it because he's gay and from idol that he's being shunned or is it just the song because I love BTIKM and think it's as good as anything out there. So what gives? Just frustrated I guess.

jo, I think it just wasn't liked by the CHR PDs. It's not Adam because they gave full support to WWFM and IIHY. BTIKM is probably too close to a ballad, but who knows why PDs do what they do? I just know that Z100 was very supportive of the FYE era and if they had liked BTIKM, they would have added it. I am much more hopeful about the 4 new songs.
