It is a very fast song. Maybe the reason some people feel it is a ballad is because the melody has very long notes and long lines. It's very lyrical with a fast beat. Not the usual combo. And, of course, we know Adam can make lines and phrases feel even more extended. I never listened to the demo of this sung by Bruno (that's correct, right?) I'm not a huge Bruno fan, but I'm certainly familiar with his hits. I would never recognize this as a Bruno song. I think his songs are a bit more varied than some artists. |
