I thought Adam's curse words in Finnish were funny. Like he said this sentence rings . And if some day I hear Adam curse in Greek I would die from laughing. But then again I curse a lot every day. I use the greek - same as fuck - word multiple times a day lol. And I'm sure Adam knows all the Finnish love words. I am sorry to repeat myself, but Finnish language has really rich vocabulary for cursings, and also very much used, not banned in media or in presence of children. I find this as a richness in culture, not so much as bad behaviour, but this is matter of opinion. Curse woirds are used in anger, but also when you are excited (not the expession Adam used though:) ). So I think it is obvious that also Sauli uses these words (as do I as well), and since they are so well serving the purpose, I think Adam naturally picks them also. You can tell it is curse even if not knowing the Finnish language. I found this truly hilarious, and so obvious boys' stuff! And since the beginning of the curse is referring to "female parts" it even more hilarious from Adam's mouth. Although I love what you're saying and I can understand it since Greek language is a very rich language too, I have to disagree on something. I could not tell that it is a curse. To me sounded like " This is great! "

I'm always more concerned with the intent behind words than with the words themselves. Adam wasn't cursing anyone out. The Finnish cursing wasn't directed at anyone in anger. He was just demonstrating some words he knew in Finnish. I don't have a problem with cursing in Finnish or in English as long as the purpose of it isn't to hurt or insult someone.

OH!!! So both Moscow AND Sonisphere are a no go. :( Sad. He was sooo looking forward to it as were we. :/ My exchange with @adamlambertruab: @adamlambertruab Adam Lambert | Адам Ламберт: официальная группа| У нас грустные новости - согласно информации на офсайте группы Queen фестиваль Sonisphere в Лондоне отменен. По мере появления деталей будем держать вас в курсе. С концертом в Москве пока все без изменений, ждем подтверждения от Ильдара Бакеева. Не паникуем. this is saying that UK is cancelled and that they are waiting for any news from Ildar Bakeev - the organizer/promoter of the Moscow event . Nica nica575 @adamlambertruab any news from Bakeev? Adam's tweet sounded like Moscow concert was not happening :(... @adamlambertruab nica575 Bakeev yesterday wrote that everything is okay with Moscow concert. also, just a few mins ago: @oshi4real nica575 the tix are is sale, and ppl buy it pretty fast, partly coz it's a concert not the fest. There's no info about changers)

Fuck truly is one of the most versatile words in the English language, it can often be used as a verb, adverb, adjective, imperative, interjection, and noun. It has various metaphorical meanings. To be "fucked" can mean to be cheated (e.g., "I got fucked by a scam artist"), or to be broken or ruined (e.g., "my computer is fucked") as well as to be sexually penetrated. As a noun, "a fuck" or "a fucker" may describe a contemptible person. "A fuck" may mean an act of copulation. The word can be used as an interjection, and its participle is sometimes used as a strong (not necessarily negative) emphatic. The verb 'to fuck' may be used transitively or intransitively, and it appears in compounds, including fuck off, fuck you, fuck up, and fuck with. In less explicit usages, fuck or 'fuck with' can mean to mess around, or to deal with unfairly or harshly. In a phrase such as "don't give a fuck", the word is the equivalent of "damn", in the sense of something having little value. In "what the fuck?!", it serves merely as an intensive. If something is very abnormal or annoying, "this is fucked up!" may be used. ......and lets not put anyone in the " if you swear you are immature or unintelligent" box..... Sheesh You're just fucking with us, right? ;D

I have sometimes been taken aback by the things Adam says and where he chooses to say them, too. These days obscenities are in the eye of the beholder ... our culture is so much more vulgar than it used to be. Even now, though, obscenities produce an emotional reaction in the listener -- that's their whole purpose. Occasionally when I hear these things I think that Adam and Sauli still have some growing up to do if saying "bad words" still strikes them as the height of wit. :-/ The use of curse words has nothing to do with age or maturity. Some people just don't find them morally reprehensible. There are older, well-respected, members of society who use curse words often. Then there are ignorant bigots who would "never use curse words". the use of curse words =/= immaturity or a lack of intelligence Hear, hear, Tigerlily!!! If Adam'd cared about being 'politically correct', he would have never smoked a joint on stage, kissed/licked/groped Tommy, simulate oral sex with his microphone, do pelvic thrusts and all other very explicit delicatessen goodies It doesn't have anything to do with him being nice or not. Same goes with swearing. The part of Adam's philosophy has always been to be honest and upfront. No room for drawing hypocritical conclusions, like if you don't swear, you're nice. He's sweet and nice, but also very sexual and 'naughty'. I bet he knows a couple of sweet and beautiful Finnish words. But I sure hope that he puts to practice those for which he's being chastised today. As often as he and Sauli can

I'm quite sure Adam knows many really sweet words in Finnish too. I think it was kinda funny. Not so bad. It's very common for Finnish young people to use those words. Probably I have also used them in some occassion ??? : It's ok for a Finn to course or use those words, because they know what they mean and how it sounds (at least they know what they are up against using them). But when foreigners use a language they don't know well, or the tones etc. I think it's pretty risky to use them in public. I don't hear Adam using the f-word much (in English I mean), with Cuckoo he's now even silencing it when singing in radio stations. And now this Finnish f-word swearing is all over the place. It has the same tone as in english the f-word in Finnish. It's a strong word. hey... it's not that serious!! Chill out. Relax. Herne pois nenästä! I thought it was funny. :

Here's my totally uninformed take on Moscow. It was supposed to be a warm up gig. It may be that Roger and Brian do not want to do all the work, rehearsal, planning, staging etc for just the Moscow gig. However, they probably have a contract that is separate from the UK gig, and if they cancel there could be some stiff penalties. Yes, they could afford them, but, why not try to line up something else to make all the work worthwhile? I think behind the scenes they are looking for and looking at other options to merge with Russia. Until they come up with something, or don't, I think they are agreed not to cancel but not to mention the Russia gig going forward. I think our only option is to patiently wait and see what they work out. In the meantime, I think Adam has been avoiding talking about the Moscow gig, in case Queen decides not to go forward with it. Does that make sense? Makes sense, cassie. Moscow promoter was independent of Sonisphere festival and they have a contractual agreement before the Sonisphere event was cancelled. It may have started as a "warm-up" gig but my still go ahead to use it as a "test" . :D
