An old time fuckfest?! I'm in!!! *runstogoseetheearlypages* LOL I'm fell in love then, too, Aloha! I've been busy, as well, and have been peeking in periodically (usually after everyone's gone to bed). I must say a heartfelt THANK YOU to all the 'old timers' and new friends for keeping this lovely place going whilst those of us currently being kicked by RL are making periodic visits. Best, Emo [Q3 - I am leaving you a PM] Wasn't there a big fucking deal at MJs about Adam saying the F word several times in the Rolling Stone article? And Chipmunk(wasn't that her name?) left some comment that included a ton of F words and everyone commented with LMFAO and variations of "Fuck Yeah".! I believe we all received a wrist slap for those comments! : Was PF around then? Was that when we had one of the Fuckfest parties? Those were good times! Oh hahaha!!! I miss Chippie!!!! I see her infrequently on twitter.. People always greet her by saying "how the FUCK are you?"

Am hoping this next week's news cycle will be spinning a new gig for Adam/Queen AND, if not the actual release, the announcement of the name of the next single, which he can sing at the NNN event, since we've heard the song already. How's that for a run-on sentence?

From some of the discussion earlier, it sounds like the swearing in Finnish was more equivalent to c**t rather than fuck? I don't speak Finnish so I don't know. I don't care about swearing at all but I do care about misogyny. Fuck is gender-neutral, c**t is not. Not saying Adam was trying to be misogynistic, I think he just likes to be naughty, but there is a big difference to me in the implications of the two words. JMHO, YMMV etc. That was my understanding also. I have no problem with the word "fuck" and use it regularly - but I find the word c*** EXTREMELY offensive and will bitchslap anyone who uses it in my presence. Yup ^^^^^^ to all of the above. I can swear like a trooper - or dial it back depending on the company I'm in. I say fuck regularly, but absolutely wince at the 'c' word because it is gender specific and to me insulting. I much prefer to use arsehole - cos EVERYONES got one I'm sorry, but Adam saying three words in Finnish which happen to be swear words is a cute, funny non-event to me. For heaven's sake... who taught him the damn phrase in the first place? Oh wait... that would be a Finn :

Ah, I too have fond memories of chippy (remember the cigarette in her avi? Or was that squirrelly?)--and the great night of the Fuck Wars. Janus and her white wrought iron "gates.". Good times. Good times.

So call the press and colour me shocked - Okay, I just colored you shocked. ETA: I misspelled coulored. My bad. Although I'm getting the red squiggly when I type it your way. ETA2: It really depresses me to see I only have one star when I've talked more on this forum than any forum in my whole life. I think I need a pity star.

3 Minutes until TN Lottery...did you buy a ticket? I did. Ok how does this relate to Adam...well, if I won the lottery, I think there might be some cash to make an Adam/Queen concert happen. I'd make them an offer they couldn't refuse. LOL

The American spelling is colored. Canadians write it coloured and I guess Aussies do too. Same thing for neighbor and neighbour, etc.
