Catchin up on idol. All of them are great this year. Jessica Sanchez is a STAR. Get the girl a microphone that can handle her big notes. So is this Jessica Sanchez the girl who sang WLL? You can tell I don't watch AI...didn't before Adam and not after Adam! lol ETA: Does anybody have a mp3 for Adam singing 'Crazy' at the Upright Cabaret New Years Eve 2008? |

I haven't been watching Idol all that much either. But no, Elise, I think, is the woman that sung WLL. Jessica is this 16 year old girl, with a helluva voice. Soulful too. Q3: I deleted all but one of the Jessica videos. Let's not go too deeply into the Idol 11 Zone here. Thanks.

I guess we are using different semantics, Q3, because when I said variety, "genre" was the farthest thing from my mind. In 2009 we had Gaga, KESHA, Beyonce, Rhianna, and at the beginning of 2010, Katy. To me, they are pretty much the same kind of music. But what is in the Top 20, right now, is really varied to me... Goyte, Adele, Fun, sooooooooooooo unique. Really different. And each one of those is not something anyone could have predicted would be a hit. RCA tried to "predict" with BTIKM. It didn't work. I think it is the perfect tme to release Adam's music. I don't think either Cuckoo or Trespassing would be a risk. You've pretty much zeroed in on the difference with the two charts. The Divas! Rihanna is the only one left right now. KP is on her last song, one that isn't even on her album. Right now the teeny boy bands and artists are drifting in. Goyte and Fun are two artists that had an interesting journey to the top of the charts. Their demand on iTunes shouted "Play me" to radio PDs everywhere. The good thing is these two groups had nothing to lose. Adam is in a different situation with his second single. RCA can't really "risk it" with something sooooo unique at this point. IMO, Trespassing would be a risk. I wish they had gone with it first. Now, it would be a big risk. |

Thanks for the vids, Marie. She really does have a good voice. Yeah, I actually just watched those right now, like wow! Like I said I haven't really been watching, but so far I think Jessica and Joshua Ladet are my faves so far. I think they are the best singers and performers so far. |
