Also it is nice to hear Time of Miracles on tv in Finland when the Voice TV is advertising 2012 which will be shown tomorrow on TV5 at 21.00. BTW Liv replayed the good interview on tuesday. There are bound to be new people exposed to Adam's magic...

There is significance in Adam's black gloved right fist in the air. I first saw this at the Olympics in Mexico City when two American runners won gold and silver and on the podium raised their right black gloved fists in the air. Their medals were taken from them. I have raised a right fist a few times and my thought is "I am a human being too". Not all white males in my life have recognized this. My love of Adam goes beyond music and his beauty (physical and voice) to the heart of the man who I will raise my right fist in solidarity anywhere and anytime. Awesome post.  My mom told me about her feelings about this years ago. There was an outcry at first that the athletes chose to do this on an international stage -- airing dirty laundry so to speak. Over the years a feeling of understanding. Tommie Smith (on the left) later stated that his raised fist was not a black power salute but a human rights salute. Well said. Hope by Monday/Tuesday we get a photo or screen capture of this. |

Viacom is blocking the vids now folks so our viewing parties are, perhaps, over!! :-( I know ...Pooh!! wanted to have another sit down and listen after a few chores. So for those that have not seen it yet or want another fix...I found a version still up ...for how long who knows.adamlamberttv.blogspot.ca/Force field up dietcoke...same as one of my BESTEST friends...
