I was in a mtg taking notes on my iPad and hit the wrong tab - diet coke was almost snorted out my nose at the various bee outfits. And if that's ALL Kanadie's wearing I just hope that unlike perez he doesn't have a paint-on six pack! And FYI I still have my killer bee costume w/a truly wide selection of deely bobbers. (the raves are gone (cc: attn Madonna) - but the outfits remain carefully packed away.) I tell you it is the dawning of the Age of the GlamBee! Prepare!

Somehow, after watching the TP vids, I cannot get wrapped up in what Adam's next single may be, what and when he will sing on Idol, or whether the DJs and PDs play his songs. That's because ADAM IS A STAR. He has come into his own, and he has this incredible arsenal of talent, charisma, craft, technique, performing experience, and creative vision that is firing on all cylinders in Era 2. I am sure that the staging of Trespassing was almost entirely Adam. No one was crafting that image or telling him where to stand and how to move. It was smart, visually, with the tie-ins to the art work on the TP cover. Cohesive and striking. His choice of having the black gospel women as backing singers was surprising --- but not. They represented the "black woman," "Miss Thang" that Adam said lives inside him. But, more than that, Adam was illustrating his commitment to diversity and inclusion: gay, straight, male, female, black, white, petite, large, punk, traditional, all come together to share music and have fun. And, of course, there was the incomparable voice shining thru. I cannot help but compare this staging and performance to the AMAs. The boy man has come a long way in less than three years. He owned this stage because he created the performance from the ground up: his music, his vision, his staging, his lighting, his concepts, his comfort zones, and his confidence. This performance was not of an Idol contestant play-acting the fierce, outrageous, sexy rock star. This WAS the REAL fierce, sexy, supremely confident, performer in control of his domain. Even tho we have this video, it only makes me more confident that the broadcast version is going to be very compelling, exciting entertainment. DVR set and ready to go! The performance of Trespassing last night was soooo good!!!! The best part - adam in is element making his Trespassing debut statement. Cassie I agree with your summary. I have tears in my eyes. Adam is a star. Such a gentle human being with a great spirit - yet such a fierce entertiainer! Just WOW!!!!

In honor of last nite's performance I put on my black with yellow striped t-shirt I also purchased for Sonisphere shadow and am heading to town. I'm not a yellow lover either Q3 and stripes, esp. horizonal ones, are yikes! I'm still on the lookout for a diagonal striped top.... something like you posted haribert, but more of a ladies cut. (Oh, please excuse the mess in the background....the painters have taken over my house.) Not to be outdone by my bff bamafan I bought a few accessories today. All I need to do now is put on a black outfit and have somewhere to go. :-/

www.styleite.com/media/logo-newnownext-awards-2012-red-carpet/#5All The Extravagant Looks From Logo’s NewNowNext Awards Red Carpet While some award show red carpets can be predictable, Logo‘s NewNowNext Awards red carpet was quite the opposite. Instead of boring nude gowns, there were rainbow hair dresses, an ab-tastic Perez Hilton, Eden Wood from Toddlers & Tiaras, and Peeta! Check out our favorite looks in the gallery below:

The song Trespassing was written by Adam and Pharrell Williams. Adam has spoken about the collaboration on this song in several interviews. That's probably why the song is so perfect for him -- he co-wrote it! If you want to see the known co-writers on the songs on the album, Q3 has a list on page 1 of this thread. Thought he co-wrote it. But then wasn't sure with the other post. Wanted to make sure. Nice job Pharrell and Adam. <- understatement. I don't watch sports but SLAM freaking DUNK. Dayum. I watch basketball and football and the first time I heard TP, I immediately thought of sports!! Great minds!

Sorry to interrupt with OT question, but I am tired of trying to find an answer to a question that's bugging me and I just KNOW someone here will know this .I've googled, used dictionary/thesaurus, and what really makes me po'd is that I used to KNOW this. It's a synonym for the word voluptuous that starts with a "z"...I keep thinking it's a word of foreign origin maybe? I CRS. And I can't find it. And it's been bugging me for two days like a toothache. Please PM if anyone knows the answer. OH--and KellyO really IS a fan-fucking-tastic FANGIRL, isn't she?! ;D I think you mean the Yiddish word -- Zaftig. ETA: I now see it was already answered.
