I had no way to record it, but E News tonight on the 7pm ET show had a bit about the NNN Awards and it contained a short interview with Adam. Maybe someone else caught it...
With the discussion of the yellow/black clothes, accessories etc. I hope for the tour someone will make up and sell yellow and black rubber bracelets with Adamtopia on them like the ones we were able to buy for the last tour that said Planet Fierce. They were real reasonable something like 3 for $5 and a great way to spot other members at the shows. It'd be fun to wear 3 side by side...say black, yellow, black to create a stripe effect...

As much as I want to use my airline credits from Sonisphere to see Adam on tour....he has to do the grunt work with promo. WE ALL KNOW THIS...we just do not wish to wait!!! haha
So now we need an Atop contest...when will the tour start?
I say after XMAS. Pumping up the volume with promo for sure, 3-4 singles out there.... building momentum ... radio, tv performances, spring flings, summer festivals, Queen, etc. He needs to/has to touch other fan bases and draw them in. The man needs new fans! He needs to bring back the casual fans that are not online every day, but liked him when he was more visible over a year ago.
We don't want small venues and a low budget tour, ...God Forbid!!
All his creative efforts for the past 1 1/2 need to be handled with time and TLC in promo mode. Gotta grow this career to get every single he shoots out there PLAYED. Some day!!!

It was a 7 month gap between album drop and tour start so it is possible to wait that long or perhaps the tour will start overseas in conjunction with radio promo? It's fun to throw a dart on the wall.  |

I can't think of any current pop stars that waited that long after their albbum to tour. There are several, that pop into mind that started off with medium venues and then graduated to larger venues. Katy Perry comes to mind. She graduated from the Nokia to Staples Center all in one tour because of all those singles. Adam should have 2 successful singles out by Fall. Even if he starts abroad first, I still see the tour starting sometime, somewhere this fall. 19E booked the last tour and it was a mess!!! This time DMG is responsible and I am hoping it will be better organized so we have all the dates (or at least almost all the dates) when the tour is announced so we can plan ahead. |

After listening to the snippets on repeat for a while, I relistened to Adam's acoustic performance on MyFm. Oh my ----- also beautiful to look at. But it's no different than having 4 dancers for the FYE promo. I don't get why you thik it is a big deal? I didn't say it was a big deal, nor did anyone say it was. I just think its odd when he doesn't know what his tour will look like until the album numbers start coming in. So I'm saying maybe its one offs or Promo. And it's just interesting that things are coming together much differently. I guess big deal wasn't exactly what I meant. The word "odd" might have been better. I don't find it oddd or unusual that he has back up singers working for him now. The FYE promo started early 2010 and he took his dancers with him, even tho the tour didn't start officially until June. I don't see that this time is all that different except that we have back up singers first. I'm sure the dancers are coming soon! ;D |

Adam has said repeatedly in interviews that he is committed to doing a LOT of promo for the album in support of the singles (plural) and that he has not even begun to think about tour. If he is doing extensive promo however it could be kind like a mini tour warm up. We already have several radio shows and the Moscow gig and Japan. Maybe there are more summer festival and radio gig type things in the works. I think they are smart to wait and see how the album does and what kind of response he gets to promo so that they can take the time to build the tour properly and be able to have more efficient routing as well as getting the whole thing mapped out before it is announced. I'll bet there was a lot of unnecessary expense on the last tour due to the haphazard routing and slapdash approach. The last tour kept growing as it went along and it was obvious that the international portion got tacked on in response to demand because they didn't know in the beginning that they would be able to do that. It sucks to have to wait but I'd much rather a better planned tour for him.
