Definitely not! I'm one of the worst offenders. A lot of the time it's deliberate (criminally guilty of excessive use of OOOOOOs EEEEEEEEs and !!!!!!!!!!!s). A lot of the time it's accidental, but I hate when it's something I truly never knew and no one ever told me, :-/ especially when there is an easy fix. ETA: That makes sense too, Gelly!! Or maybe it's along the lines of, "You don't need to draw me a picture, I get it, but I'm telling you – I can be just as cool and turn it back on you." Actually I interpreted differently. The whole lyric is: 'I don't need no GPS to show me where to go, but I can turn into the North Pole and show you what is cold' Cold can either mean frozen/heartless -- the whole 'i give haters the silent treatment/freeze them out' kind of thing or extremely cool/super awesome, so much so that people are hatin' out of jealousy. I read it as another way of saying 'get a load of this' and Adam's full of attitude moves after he sings this lyric - the head toss, leg cross, drop it like it's hot dance move suggest this meaning to me. www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=coldFor example: "have you heard Trespassing?" "that is a cold ass song, dude, it's insane!" The north pole line is a play on 'cold' but also, he's saying I can find my own way to the top of the game/world, I'm gonna embody it. Nobody needs to show me the way (no GPS is necessary ). Interesting.. I don't think I've seen anyone with my interpretation. Maybe I missed it. I read "I don't need no GPS to show me where to go" to almost be a response to someone saying... "Go to hell" because Adam is 'trespassing' where he shouldn't be. Reminds me of the phrase, "You know where you can go..." ..."but I can turn into the North Pole and show you what is cold" Then Adam can turn that attitude right back on them but more intensified. Like you said.. cold and heartless. I will say of every song and every line we've heard to date, this is by far my favorite.

I have a question guys. I was just on Amazon and Adam's TP album is listed at $13.98 for the regular album and $12.99 for the deluxe album. What does this mean? Why is the deluxe cheaper? Jo, I noticed this the other day. Amazon is even recommending that you buy both! Why would we do that unless there is a delay in the deluxe version coming out. By the way, Barnes & Noble has the deluxe version listed as $9.83 with free shipping at $25.

Really enjoying the grammar discussion!! My pet peeve is the incorrect use of the apostrophe on plurals.... I see it all the time - a couple of FB friends use an apostrophe for any word that ends in s.... So the above sentence would have read "a couple of FB friend's use an apostrophe for any word that end's in s...." ;D Also when people use your when it should be you're..... I am sure I make plenty of grammatical errors in other ways, but I am a bit pedantic when it comes to apostrophes!!! ;D

It's interesting that Keisha Renee removed the reference to her religious beliefs in her profile. I know because I didn't follow her immediately BECAUSE of it.... edited to clarify...but there is no way to write how I feel without being politically incorrect....gah! Hmmm, that's interesting. I wonder how many people don't follow Adam because he's gay and miss all the other things they might admire about him. I knew that was gonna get me in trouble. ;D I have a huge issue with in your face fundamentalist religion ....and it WILL colour my opinion about people. ....but (<- grammar be damned!) I do see what you are saying even if I don't equate the two issues. I abhor what I call "Jesus'ing". ABHOR. Sorry. Now I should probably shut ma' trap.

The pictures here today are unbelievable. I am continually amazed at how the camera loves him. Have been listening to the MyFM Trespassing on repeat. I'm about ready to make an edit that includes just the part beginning with the "pants" (2:26) and going to about 3:03. Funky/jazzy/sexy/incredible! He will be the death of us all - but what a way to go. ;D

Just a quick note to say, "Yeah, I'm a (grammar) freak, but thanks for lovin' me ..." and I hope no one really feels judged.
The grammar discussion has been a total treat for me today (and Crispy, I remember fondly the Oxford comma one, too, even had to look up the Youtube of the song -- great!) but I'm pretty sure all the people posting about grammar peeves know that (a) it's not good form to correct someone else's grammar unless you're asked and (b) we don't read this forum, emails, tweets nor other casual communication with a red pencil in hand. (We're in an interesting time when written communication is, for the first time, becoming casual in the same way spoken language is, and the rules have relaxed ... there's good in that, and some really fun, creative use of language, too.)
I think some people "hear" and assimilate grammar and spelling and whatnot in the way other people -- say, Cassie -- hears notes. I am always absolutely astounded when she or anyone else listens to a sung note and can identify it, pick it out of the air and "read" it like that. I'm tone deaf, so that is freakish magic to me. I know semicolons are like that to others (maybe without the "magic"part). You don't need to know what note Adam is singing to be moved by his song; nor do you need where to place a comma to communicate powerfully or hilariously.
I am constantly impressed by the way everybody on this site communicates. It's not the words, not the notes, but the fun, the love, the enthusiasm, the images and the life that are communicated that matter.
