Yes! Ashley is a born bass player, where Tommy was good but his inexperience with the instrument was inescapable. He is in his area of expertise now. Brian is perfect!!!! Love what he brings to the overall image and sound and excited to see how he will shape the sound for the tour. Isaac-- I really think he's fun to watch and he's damn good. The Divas backup vocals are great-- I had to go back and listen for them because (naturally) the first few viewings I was riveted on Adam. But they add a richness and "finish" to the overall sound and complement Adam's voice without overwhelming him (remember the "Crying" debacle?) I can't hear the GIRLS at all :-[ I've tried and tried and all I hear is Adam. I wasn't even sure they were singing until I saw them signing...but I still can't hear.... Am I the only one who is so imprinted on Adam that I can't discern any other voices? Lol, nica, I did say I had to go back and listen for them.... |

This performance is simply breathtaking!!!! I love everything about Adam. It's not only about his perfect physical appearance and great vocals. He has so much to bring into this monotone boring world of current pop music. Singers like Adam are surely born only once in 100 years. And some of other ''popstars'' really should be ashamed for their lack of talent. I'm thrilled, amazed, enchanted by him. And I'm really proud of Adam as a singer, showman and human being. I'm sorry for being too sappy. Just don't have better words to describe the miraculous phenomenon called ADAM MITCHEL LAMBERT  I also love Sauli, Kelly and the whole band ♥ |

The backing singers a very subtle as they should be IMHO. They are there to add texture and depth to Adam's voice, and not to be heard as a distinct voice. I think the tv audio mixer did a very nice job with all the elements of the mix.  |

I love Sauli's hearteyes towards the beginning.
The backing singers compliment Adam's voice so well. I can't wait to hear what they sound like on other songs.
Small quibble about the sound mix - they need to turn Ashley's bass waaaaaay up.

I am so impressed and happy with EVERYTHING about this live performance. What is astounding to me, is that Keisha posted on her facebook on April 1,
"God is amazing. Got a background gig with Adam Lambert. Back on the road "So they had about 4 or 5 days to learn the song, the background vocals, get the costumes, dance moves, etc. - AND IT WAS THAT GOOD!!!! Can't wait to see what's to come next!! |
