TRESPASSING will hit hard with the tweens & teens. They get its message. It's this edgy, fearless, and 'full-of-life' Adam that they will be drawn to. Adam is a visual artist and TRESPASSING is a kickass visual win when performed live. Hope this NNNA performance will lead off his next single  with a BANG!  ITA!!! |

Someone the other day called Adam's dancing on this performance "lulzy." That is not the word I would use. Sinuous. Suggestive. Scorching. Sexyfunkydelicious. He's wildly controlled... still sex on legs but in a more subtle and rhythmic way than the hip thrusting mofo of GNT. Of course, he drops in and out of the bits of choreography with panache.. he is a master of this technique. And as we know, this aspect of his performance only gets tighter and better as the entire team evolves. Also, many of us have experienced the physical connection with Adam's voice-- I know my body reacts, my heart races. Especially when he hits those wailing high notes.. he shoots the energy straight into and through me and i vibrate with excitement. Freaking awesome. Well said :D |

I can't with these funk songs. On Cuckoo and Trespassing, I seriously get a stank face on, and bob my head hard, and do that shoulder bounce that Adam is doing. With Naked Love, I just want to jump, put my hands on my head and open my arms to welcome in all the crazy people into happy, glittery, joyful world.. ;D |

Speaking of lower body worshipping, there is this comment on the youtube of the nnna tp al video: "He is a combo of MJ, Prince, Elvis, Freddie Mercury, and john holmes". Yeah, but you just don't understand. I mean I love Adam, for his voice, his attitude, his sweetness, his altogether awesomeness, but gah... I do objectify him from time to time, and I know I must sound all kinds of cray, (too much sweets and needs sleep :  , but I feel like I've been waiting a long, long time to see datass in those pants.  For some reason, he just feels the need to wear long coats, or jackets over his bum when he's in leather pants, and finally a view shot where we can see it. So um..YAY! lol. I don't understand?! I'm the one that's understanding! (not the only one, I'm sure). I feel like I've been waiting forever for Adam to bring back the sexy, after all those Ellen-Leno-Radio promos almost "straight" outfits lol... When he finally decided to give us something, during TP at Radio Elise was it? - I almost fainted Doesn't mean he'd look the same in AI as he did in the NNN, and rightfully so, but seeing this little come-back of the leather pants is something... And his thighs are to die for!.. YES! This is totally me! All those earlier T.V. performance outfits was killing me, (and not so much in a good way) I liked some of them for what they were, but you understand. But that La radio event, and NNN, I'm like YES!  Finally saving a lot of pics again, hehehe. ;D |

Really loving the band. Ashley is the biggest surprise for me, she has quite the groove, and a big improvement from Tommy on bass. Given that I am totally happy with Tommy on guitar, his guitar sound on Trespassing is FIERCE!!! Isaac's drums are always tight and right in the pocket. The girls singers are long overdue. Brian on keys is going to be awesome, love the urban edge he will bring to Adam's new funk songs. YAY!    |

FINALLY. ADAM WITH ATTITUDE. It's been sooo very long... sniff.
"He can't sing anymore sad songs, there got to be some GOOD TIMES." (Any Dreamgirls fans here?)
I've always been Trespassing's bitch, but I so so so want this to be what he kicks ass with all over the AI stage. Make their faces crack, indeed.
Love the backup singers in the choir robes, love the bass, love the funk...just soooo fun.
ETA: LOL at the guy standing next to Kelly playing Air Bass. Hee.
Also, I am going to quietly pat myself on the back for thinking gospel the first time I heard this song. It reminded me of "A Change Is Going to Come" for some reason, and apparently I wasn't alone!!!
