Just wanted to say that I had my 20yo daughter watch Adam's NNN video. SHE LOVED IT!! Couldn't stop dancing! I played her the snippets of the other three songs also and she loved all of them. She is already a fan, nothing like us though, lol. She went to three GNT shows with me and totally enjoyed. She's looking forward to DLing Trespassing. She belongs to Alpha Phi and I told her to make sure she plays it for everyone there and for the frat boys! See if we can get Adam some new fans and some CD sales:) :  |

A very good NZGlitterTribe friend of mine just tweeted this to Adam.... @adamlambert Adam, your performance at the NNNA's was soulful, mezmerising, slick and polished. I couldn't help but be reminded of the epic performance of Ricky Martin at the Grammy's doing "The Cup of Life". That single performance catapulted Ricky into world domination. Mass frenzy. I had been a Ricky fan for years before that performance, the world caught up. This Trespassing performance needs to be on a world stage, such as he likes of the Grammy's. This song, and the timing in your career is primed for world domination in the same way. The single fist in the air, during the chorus speaks volumes. OMG Adam you really are a star! Speaking of lower body worshipping, there is this comment on the youtube of the nnna tp al video: "He is a combo of MJ, Prince, Elvis, Freddie Mercury, and john holmes". I thought that was funny, though I wonder how many people know who john holmes is. I was reading the first line of your post and... who is John Holmes.. LOL... But yep that person was right.. He gets the handsome irresistable of the young Elvis.. voice and stage presence of Freddie .. and creativity and one of a kind of MJ & Prince .. ;D |

Sooo excited to hear all this about "Trespassing." I really think it's a Dark Horse. I was working out the other day to the snippets and "Trespassing" is such a perfect groove to do step routines to. I was team "Cuckoo," but found "Trespassing" worked best for working out. His performance here is INSANE!!!! The close-ups, OMG!! He's never looked more gorgeous.  The sound and editing people at NNN are A+++. They did a GREAT job. Regarding kissing customs, it is very regional and L.A./Hollywood is extremely kissy. Twenty years ago when I lived in Hwood, I would kiss platonic female friends on the lips and a male I had met more than twice, kissing on the lips was a customary greeting. Kissing on the cheek pretty much required (especially if wearing lipstick). Nowadays, it is quite common with anyone you have a rapport with, especially on "special occasions." I greet most of my male and female colleagues by kissing on the cheek and those I'm especially close to, I will kiss on the lips. You can see by the way Adam and his friends greet each other, that is not uncommon at all. I am pretty sure Andrej and Adam have met before (the OUT 100 party? Fashion Week last year?) Anyway, Adam was already seated and Andrej was being shown to his seat – He immediately stopped and greeted Adam. Adam stood and they kissed both cheeks in a customary greeting. The vibe was comfortable and they didn't talk for too long, so it seemed to me not a first meeting. In an effort to not do a tl;dr I will save my further comments on "Trespassing" for another post. |

John Holmes!!! Though it was getting a little long in the tooth (no pun intended), "Deep Throat" was first porn I ever saw at the first bachelorette party I ever went to (was only 18). Yeah, if I hadn't seen it, I'd never believe it ... and we'll leave it at that. Of course, the debate about next single has been raging on for weeks on Twitter and the "radio gurus" have their thoughts, etc. and of course, they've branded "Trespassing" too "different" to get play, which many of us think that's kind of lame. The reverse is that you NOT do anything risky and distinctive and think you are going to establish yourself as a breakthrough artist? To me, that's kind of counter-intuitive. In my opinion, he runs more of a risk by not being authentic, but that is too long a discussion at this point. ANYWAY, what I love about "Trespassing" and as virg and suebluern touched upon earlier, the kids are getting it because it's not only catchy, but IT'S ABOUT SOMETHING!!! I really think one of the main things that worked so well with WWFM was not it's midtempo angst, but the fact that it told a story. And for whatever reason, it resonated with people. (I think that could have happened with BTIKM if given a proper audience, but that's neither here nor there.) The message of "Trespassing" can resonate with anyone and I really believe it could be the breakthrough if they would take a risk. And his live performances will go to sell it BIG TIME and since he'll have far more TV performance opportunities, he can end-around radio with this song. (That's my dream and I'm sticking to it ...) If tomorrow we find out we have a different single, I'll hop on that crazy train. But right now, I'm so believing in this song. |

For those still wondering, John Holmes was a male porn star famous for his...endowment. The straight porn business is all about the women, but Holmes was the first man in straight porn to be,
in Hollywood terms, billed above the title. He really wasn't good-looking, or charismatic. He just had a big one.
So it seemed strange to see someone on youtube add Holmes to the list of performers to whom Adam
compares. We all know that Adam is good-looking and charismatic.
