Good grief, gelly! Your mind astounds me!! Can you also remember grocery lists and what you went upstairs for or is this an Adam-centric talent?  I remember almost everything. More when it comes to Adam stuff. The last time I was in London my brother called me (in London ffs) to ask me his social security number. He thought it was easier to ask me instead of actually looking for it. People at the office ask me all the time about phone numbers instead of looking at their pc's to find them. They think it's easier since I'm going to tell them immediately. :-/ ;D My mom is 93 years old and if you give her a list of 25 friends and relatives she can give you their birthdays, anniversaries, and when they died. Her logic when she plays the lottery is, "Uncle Marshall died on that date in 1951." I'm like, "HUH?" I am hard pressed to remember friends' birthdays now that I no longer carry a Day Timer. I can recite Shakespeare or e e cummings, but don't ask my daughter's phone number. Thank God for programmable cell phones. Okay, now I AM going to be late. My theory, based on the tease on the Queen website, is there is definitely something(s) planned. However, they know that the official announcement of such would trigger a flurry of media stories for the next cycle. Adam premiering the title track from his upcoming album is a BIG DEAL for Adam, and deserves its (not it's) own media cycle. After the rave reports of the NNNA performance have flooded the internet and gossip press, I think they will follow up with a Queen announcement. That puts it in the proper perspective for Adam. An exciting new artist coming out with a sick new album, and, performing as a guest with Queen. As opposed to announcing it before the NNNA, when it would be Idol runner-up to be the new frontman for Queen, and, oh, btw, he also is releasing his new album.
Waiting a week for the announcement matters not to Queen, but makes an important difference for Adam. I think Roger and Brian would respect that.
Factor in the Easter weekend, which, I have gathered in some countries is a major holiday with little press activity, and I predict the Queen and single announcements to happen this coming week.
Crossing fingers and toes.

Wouldn't be the first time! Remember the long jacket he just did that too (the collar?) That one he wore on his recent EU promo?  No mys*&@^#r it's not. It's a very old ring . He wore it at David Letterman , you can't see it very clearly but it is the same ring and also at Hard Rock Cafe , and some other times but these are the first ones that came to my mind   Gelly!  |

After getting to know you here, I realized that I was often asking him questions when I could with only a little more effort find things out myself. I resolved to do just that and try to expand my own knowledge base. He is a sweet young man and never hesitated to help, always with good grace just like you. He and I still chat a lot and I still rely on him when I can not find the answer but now the work relationship it much more pleasurable, plus I am getting smarter. (shhhhh! ... I made that last part up. ;D ) |
