Pretty sure that new music becomes available in other countries on Friday, not Tuesday like here. That's why several countries have May 11th as the release date for the album. Yeah, this must be the case. I was just a bit surprised to see NCOE on iTunes so early. |

Not bad considering Sony AU hasn't tweeted about it. They tweeted lots of other artists - 1D, KC, CC & others. but zip about NCOE.

James is probably going to have a pretty sustained bump from Idol due to his being in Rock rather than Pop. Right now his album is #20 overall and the song is #176 overall but in Rock his album is #4 and the song is also #4 so extra visibility from being top #10 in his format. Pop is so competive that right now the #10 song in Pop is #20 overall. ITunes only classifies a song in one genre.
I'm not sure how Amazon determines how things are classified but I found this interesting. Adam's Trespassing Deluxe Edition ranking right now on Amazon.

#18 in Music > Pop > Adult Alternative
#20 in Music > Alternative Rock

I know I've seen him listed in Rock on Amazon before but I don't think I've ever seen him listed in Alternative. If they classify by Artist though this may be one little benefit of BFM as I think that was listed in both Rock and Alternative Rock.

BTIKM started to drop faster on HAC, #18 today.
oooh, video dropped to #29 from #12 last week on MuchMore weekly countdown. Hoped it would climb the chart a little longer.... :(

Was hoping BTIKM would be able to fend off Nathansan until Sunday. Damn, it would have peaked at 16 that way (assuming Bruno goes recurrent.) If Bruno goes recurrent, it will be 17 for the week again and stay there for a few weeks, most likely.

It was #20 on Rick Dees. HAC Top 40!  They are always a few weeks behind, so it will get played there for quite some time! Also, someone said Jim Shearer said BTIM was #21 this week and just missed the VH1 countdown. Has he ever said that before for any videos? He also played a short clip of the MV, when they were doing #4! Weird! (I think he is a Glambert!) OK, I was a bad fan and stopped voting. Guess I'd better get back on that! |
