It was #20 on Rick Dees. HAC Top 40!  They are always a few weeks behind, so it will get played there for quite some time! Also, someone said Jim Shearer said BTIM was #21 this week and just missed the VH1 countdown. Has he ever said that before for any videos? He also played a short clip of the MV, when they were doing #4! Weird! (I think he is a Glambert!) OK, I was a bad fan and stopped voting. Guess I'd better get back on that! I don't see the video on the VH1 voting page. Oh good. Now I don't feel bad! :-/ Must have been Jim's way of saying "Good Bye." Such a great video. It really deserved to make #1 |

Was hoping BTIKM would be able to fend off Nathansan until Sunday. Damn, it would have peaked at 16 that way (assuming Bruno goes recurrent.) If Bruno goes recurrent, it will be 17 for the week again and stay there for a few weeks, most likely. Another HAC station that was spinning BTIKM a lot (29 spins a wk) Shreveport switched over to CHR yesterday. Hence the heavier spin drop  |

Haley just made #50 HAC with her song Free and is only 4 spins behind Kris. I think she actually has more adds than him but maybe more of hers are unmonitored. Durbin's song and album are sustaining on iTunes probably because they are still top 10 in rock. The album was still at #4 in rock last I looked.
Adam's Amazon ranking is still inching up as well.

Haley just made #50 HAC with her song Free and is only 4 spins behind Kris. I think she actually has more adds than him but maybe more of hers are unmonitored. Durbin's song and album are sustaining on iTunes probably because they are still top 10 in rock. The album was still at #4 in rock last I looked. Adam's Amazon ranking is still inching up as well. I never thought TVOL was going to catch on at CHR stations, but I had no idea it was going to be moving this slow!  Haley's single is actually showing some good signs of momentum and interest from radio stations, but SOMETHING has to happen SOON for TVOL, or it is going to end up DOA! Durbin's song dropped out of the top 200 on iTunes sometime yesterday , which is pretty much how it goes with performances on Idol. The bumps are usually good for Thursday night through sometime on Saturday. |

I checked Durbin this morning and he was in the high 200s and the album was 41. He was still very much there.

I checked Durbin this morning and he was in the high 200s and the album was 41. He was still very much there. He's still doing well in his genre as the song is #16 and the album #7 in rock. So he's doing well as far as rock acts go and is competitive in his genre. For my tastes however James success in the rock format just highlights how dismal the competition is right now. It takes a lot higher sales to be competitive in Pop though. I'm curious to see how well Haley does and in what formats. Are we not bothering with a new thread this week because of the lull between songs? |
