"Love, Actually" gifs? Oh, Seoulmate, didn't think I could love you more...now this.
If in fact NCOE is the next single, color me one confused stan. Why, oh why, would they not have sung that instead at the NNN awards?????? I have reluctantly concluded that there was some logic behind releasing BTIKM as WWFM 2.0 to keep his name out there (and to counteract the Album That Shall Not be Named) while the Queen stuff and the Bruno thing were brewing but unannounceable, but this? Baffled.
On a completely personal, selfish level, I DNW the next single to be Adam Does Bruno Mars. I have pretty much had it with them trying to come up with new ways to make the scary gay guy not so scary. But if that's what they truly believe is Adam's ticket to the top 10, then whatever the fuck.
Pretty tired of the tease, I'll admit it.

Ehm about this concert with Elton John in Kiev, anyone hear something about date? I ask because in Poland and on Ukraine we have UEFA Euro 2012 between 8 June and 1 July 2012 and final match is in Kiev and it will be interesting if there is any possibility that there is some connection. It's pure speculation from my part of course.

Queen’s Roger Taylor says Lambert will play with the band, which also includes original member Brian May, on June 30 in Kiev, another Kiev show where Queen and Elton John will share the bill, and two July shows at the Hammersmith Apollo in London in July. Taylor told Billboard.com that the London shows will provide an “alternative...for some of the people who had bought tickets” to Sonisphere.

*sighs* Well I already resigned myself for NCOE being the next single. When the snippets came out I pretty much hated the song, and thought that I'll never like it. But after hearing him do it acoustic, then revisiting the snippet, I actually like it now. It's still my least favorite, but its alright. And with the Brink fans being all sweet over it, surely doesn't hurt.  I'm like whatever will be, will be. As long as he gets a hit, its fine with me. Just disappointed a little, because I think now that Naked love might never be a single, and it sounds like a perfect summer single too. And I'm one if those bad fans that don't really care about Adam having a writing on the song, I just want him to have great success... I don't think any of us are bad fans. We all want the same things for Adam - Success & Happiness. How he gets it is where we differ. :D |

I think what bothers me is that it seemed obvious that Adam wanted either Cuckoo or Trespassing for single #2. It's like he's thinking "Curses foiled again!" But since I loved all 4 snippets I will not wank. I will not wank. No I won't. I think saying "it seemed obvious" that Adam wanted one of those songs is a bit of a stretch. Adam has said things here and there, but nothing definitive, and we really don't know (and may never know) his true feelings about what he wanted and whether or not he got it. I just get a bit uncomfortable when some people in fandom go down the "Adam is getting fucked over by his label" path. None of us are in the rooms where these decisions are being made. Anyway, it'll be interesting to see if NCOE is indeed the next single. I pretty much figured it would be, and I love the song, actually. More than Trespassing, to be honest, and I know that's sacrilege  I've kept quiet about it too  I think TP was perfect for the NNN Awards performance -- it introduces the album and it is def Adam's anthem -- a great message, his message. I really didn't care which song was picked for the second single but if it's NCOE then I'm particularly happy. I'm still thrilled each time I hear BTIKM and I like that song ALOT too. I'll support Adam no matter what songs get picked etc so it really doesn't matter (in my case). |

I don't think I will wake up, tomorrow is a very tough day for me.
Actually it's so tough that if they will announce ticket sales tomorrow for Queen, I don't think I will be on line.

I don't want the next single to be "Adam does Bruno Mars" either, but this is what RCA came up with. And they (along with Adam) have taken a lot of time getting it the way they want it; so I think it will end up more Adam than Bruno. The fact is, Trespassing and Cuckoo have been done for MONTHS. And it appears RCA has passed on them twice now as singles. I LOVE Trespassing (Cuckoo, not so much), but they must have done the research and have some inside info that we don't.
I just want a single out NOW, lol!
