I'm still leaning towards Elton and Queen playing at the closing ceremonies of the European cup on July 1st. Kiev is only an hour flight from Moscow, it could be done logistically. voodoogirl That sounds like a logical conclusion if Elton was already booked for that event. Moscow on June 30th and Kiev the next day on July 1st. Actually what I was trying to draw attention to by posting that was the suggestion that Sonisphere ticket holders may get first dibs at Hammersmith. |

There's one thing I really don't understand. If it's all pure fantasy, so why do they call it Adam/Tommy or Adam/Kris stuff? Why can't it be Billy/George or Matt/Joe or something else ??? ??? You're missing the whole point. Much of it is badly written, grammar questionable, plot line close to non-existent, so if it's not Adam/Tommy or Adam/Kris, what's the point. It's no different than perving over the glambulge during GNT. It's about Adam, not the storyline, not the bulge, just that it's Adam. It's called suspending reality and being a little lascivious about someone you (we) obsess over one way or another anyway. Just as I would never read science fiction or horror stories, even if Adam was the main character, some people don't want sexy stories. Off topic comments deleted. ~NoAngelSorry. The whole fanfiction thing is very unfamiliar to me. I didn't even know that stuff like it existed before I became an Adam fan. |

It's interesting to hear what Torsten thinks about Adam (I know that Didi likes Adam very much!) but honestly I'm not sure about how good this performance will be... With him singing his 'own version'... :  I'm sure, that Thorsten has now "too big boots"! Torsten has never even heard IIHY. He knows that Adam sings high, but he (Torsten) thinks, that he can sing lower. But the thing is not therein, at what level IIHY sung. Poor boy. Maybe the jury wants him out. But I hope very much that I'm wrong!!! (Grammar police, now I will advise! I would like to know if sung is the right word. or should it be will sing , or something else?) : |

Yes, I did see that, but I thought this was also quite interesting. Since we have seen nothing re Kiev, the games is a logical conclusion and great exposure. |

JanuarySnow I like your avi. I was at the promo in Massachusetts where Adam said we could all come to the next tour dressed as bees. It was so cute. A little girl asked him if he liked pens (writing pens). He paused not sure exactly what she was asking, but he said "yes". Then someone asked "What color" and of course, he answered "right now I like yellow", and said he was into black and yellow and went on to make the bee comment. We all laughed thinking of an audience full of silly bees. My latest avi is my own picture taken at the promo. Thank you, lifeisnow :D Your story is so cute :D To tell you the truth I don't like yellow much and now trying to find compromise. Maybe I'll use orange/black for me, but for Adam yellow is good ;D |

If you're a Hallmark Channel person rather than an HBO person, you might want to stay away from most of it. If you are offended easily or think only truth should be committed to paper, definitely stay away. It's like Adam with Gossip Girls, a guilty pleasure when you are bored out of your mind. |

JanuarySnow: Done.  Please post the link quite often, so we get a reminder to help you out. NoAngel: Thankyou.... and keeping the rest about the topic to myself 8-) Fanfic: If a writer does not want to properly develop his/her own characters, that is when they would call them A&S (or Kradam or whatever) and the live person will have already done that work for them. Serves as a built in marketing plan for your fiction too. I did read some of it during Kradam times, part curiousity, part because it was clear that it was only fiction. But pretty quickly especially after seeing some bad ones I decided that this was just not the way I wanted to spend/waste my time and I just kicked that habit again. Actually, I don't think it ever was a habit, just an experiment that I decided not to continue. I have not looked back and really not interested to go there now. Could not tell you a thing about what is written there now. But each to their own. I will certainly understand if others want to read there more and find it fun, but for me it just wasn't what I wanted to do. I also am with some others here who said they would not want to read about A&S. That is a real relationship and one that I respect and just does not feel right, feels invasive to me too. Furthermore if anything I need to think less about those two and more about my own life and I am pretty sure this would not help one bit. YMMV - and that is fine too - just expressing what was true for me. |
