Regarding color. I think this could be one of Adam's future nightmares...dreaming about looking into a sea of gray and yellow in EVERY arena in every freaking country where he is giving a concert. Can you imagine? Must come right behind looking at pictures of himself ten-thousand times in his twitter feed. And while I am guilty of contributing to the latter too...I think I will go for more independence with my clothing. And I could actually wear grey and yellow, though not those shades. But WILL.NOT.DO! On the other hand, changing our twitter avis for one day on May 15 could be a pretty good helping hand we fans could lend to the cause. Can you imagine, if radio stations and others would find the occasional yellow and grey tweets on their feed asking them whether they had already checked out the new album and what they think about it, etc....and obviously we could also request the single while we were at it. The one that we are getting very soonish, whatever that means in UK time. Yes, that one! I totally agree with this. I hope this doesn't come across the wrong way, but, although the concertgoers dressing in "glam" was fun and meant to show support, it is also in stark contrast to Adam saying everyone should act and dress like themselves, not like him. Every concert doesn't have to be a dress-up game. There are other ways to show support of him and for me, my way to show that I "get him" is to be myself. And that is certainly not by wearing yellow and black.

I discovered fanfiction back when I watched "Queer As Folk". Whew! The thousands of stories that were written for that series. Some so cringe worthy and some I still go back and reread. Some authors are astounding in their skills and it allows that characters on the show to do and live through so many more experiences.
I have found the same in the Adam/Kris fanfiction fandom. I have a few favorite writers, I won't post names here, but if you PM me I will share the name of my favorite writer and much of what she writes is without explicit sex. The PWP (plot what plot) stories can become tiresome quickly, sex for sex sake is not too exciting.

So I guess "very soon" is not today.
Ugh.

I never wear yellow but I do love pink because it works great with my skin tone. lol Sorry Adam ;D

Oh, she has been lurking recently. Checks in every day, but hasn't been posting much. I expect to hear from her once we have info on the single, Queen, a tour, an appearance or just about anything that is actual NEWS. hahaha

I took the whole dress up thing as fun and a chance to step off my usual dime. To me, going to Adam's concert was a huge event and a chance to get up some real fun. Especially since I usually never dress up, I just wear t-shirts and jeans and no makeup.
Since it was 900 degrees outside and a GA show, I couldn't go over the top much, but I did wear an Adam tank top, some cool jewelry that I found that was much bolder than my usual statement, and I sprayed my hair with glitter. It was fun. To me it was a way to mark the occasion as special.
I feel the same about the upcoming shows. I don't think we need to copy Adam or his band or center around a theme. At the same time, I wouldn't just go off to my Adam concert wearing the same polo shirt and khakis that I might have on for work. I would want to be "me+" I guess. Me with a little extra. Me not hiding or trying to blend in with my peers, but trying to "walk that walk like I don't give a fuck" for once.
My two cents. Can't wait until I actually have the chance!
