We'll find out when he writes his autobiography in 25 years ;D Also, Adam has denied things in the past that ultimately came to be. The original Queen announcement comes to mind

Just doing a little and a little ;D and a little :-[ and all kinds of seeing what has happened or evolved from my little post earlier today. But at this late time, the only thing that remains for me to say is: If every one of us dresses at concerts or other gatherings as we please or our creative and artistic spirit moves us, I doubt that this fandom will come out looking like one big collective bumble bee and Adam will be able to sleep without any nightmares. But then comparing his Glamily to the Steelers now that might actually cause him some migranes, yellow sea wave and all. I know that the Steelers are fierce, did not know they were known for their artistic and creative spirit or their fashion choices for that matter. I was just responding to the expressed group breakout and developing mass shopping spree of those who felt a need to cloak their collective Glambertolicism in grey and yellow, and that was causing me a tad bit of nausea. Glad to hear that not everybody plans to follow this new found religion and its conceived color scheme and dress code quite so strictly. --------------------------------------------------- So, we have a single or better a single title, because I guess that is all we were granted today beyond outdated snippits, but then we are not spoiled, we'll take the morsels, won't we? Did I say I love NCOE! It may have been my second choice, not my first, but that is saying so based on the rich banquet that was on offer. I am certainly more than fine with it. NCOE allows Adam to sing the heck out of it, it is dancey. Yes, it may have received a bit more of Dr. Luke's handwriting than Adam needs, but its job is to sell to clubs, to radio, to buyers of singles, to anybody interested and paying attention. And I think it will do just that. This song will be instantaneously recognizable and often when it comes to radio play that is to me the most important. Don't like songs that differentiate themselves so little that I need to listen for the refrain before I recognize the song. This song will be NOTICED! I also want to say that I recognize that Bruno seems somewhere cut from the same cloth as Adam in that he sees this collaboration as a win-win rather than thinking about competition or what might happen to HIS song. Adam has collaborated during AI with all those who were competing with him, thinking that a big wave raises all boats. And did he ever raise the bar of season 8. It may have cost him the title and as much as that may have sucked, the reality is that it created enough commotion that three years later we are still talking about that season or even about Kradam - lol. Nobody talks about that season that had nothing going on (season 9). In the same way, if multiple male pop stars with high voices and great personalities rise to the top of the charts, it creates momentum and buzz and attention, a new trend, rather than a weeding of the competition. Bruno seems to get that, as of course so does Adam, but I think very few others in the business do. Most others are threatened. Bruno has made it as songwriter as well as a singer, this is about the song, not his career, but he thinks like an artist and for this song he needed a different voice than his own: Who best can sing this song that is written in the key of fuck? Adam. So he should get the song. Bruno is not afraid of Adam's vocals, even though Adam can pocket him in that one department. I also like Bruno's videos, they have a good sense of humor and are interesting and not the usual fare. He does not need bombastic budgets ala Gaga. Bruno just has good ideas and that is all it takes. Talking about ideas: Why are we not hearing about a radio premiere? Is something special planned? A rolled out play across all timezones - to play off the title...Never Close Our Eyes? Just wondering what this secrecy is about? I guess, we will find out soonish....again.....

IMHO,Adam and Bruno are really the only good male pop stars out there today. They are both extremely talented, can actually sing and have stage presence galore. It's great that they respect each other and show good will. So many other singers seem to be self absorbed and not generous to other artists.

Like he said..'lots of politics involved..and not just the music' and he really wants radio success so base on the positive response from DJs on NCOE, I guess that what he & RCA decided to go with it.

So excited about the single! And even more excited--and shocked, actually-- that Adam has been added to the Chicago KISS concert! This is a VERY big deal. I'm not expecting this station to go crazy with spins (it's a lot like the LA KISS station, and they have pretty much ignored him In the past) but just the fact that they invited (or allowed) him to be a part of things is SO encouraging.
I love NCOE, and I think it's the best decision at this point in time.

The original Queen announcement comes to mind Adam played it coy with the Queen announcement, to be sure. But, he had to. He denied the Sonisphere concert rather emphatically, but, my impression was that when he was in talks with Brian and Roger, they referred to it as Knebworth (or however you spell it) rather than Sonisphere. I don't think he recognized the name of the festival or didn't equate it with the Knebworth gig. That's the only thing that makes sense to me, because Adam doesn't usually out and out lie. Hedge, be evasive, change the subject, or laugh it off, yes. But bold faced lie, not so much. IMO.
