I don't think I will ever think Adam has been given his due until the man has F-ing flames coming from his head. But thanks to those that knew/know to douse the wild-abandon with some practical wisdom. I am really excited for NEVER CLOSE OUR EYES. And the snippet sounds like it has a lot more Adam in it!!!!!!!!!!!  |

New snippet sounds better than the old one, finally some life to it! I still think it will tank over here though, and probably bring any later singles down with it. Hopefully I'm wrong... Lol, you're so disappointed, cheer up,  Yeah, it's not my favorite either, but the verses do sound more punched up to me, then the other snippet we had earlier. |

Love the snippet! Definitely more "driving" and very dancey. Don't know why RCA is releasing to iTunes and radio on the same day. This really only makes sense, for me, if there will be some big splashy debut on a big station. It is very difficult for just a hardcore fanbase to move a brandnew song up the iTunes chart. It will probably do about as well as BTIKM did upon release (maybe a little better) since it will be essentially the same people buying. BUT, with CHR kicking in this time, long-term sales should be much better  eta---Question, how powerful would a Bruno tweet be on release day? Maybe that could help push it up. Well, we got BTIKM up to 19, so if we could do that, plus if the 5 Spring concert stations start spinning immediately, it could work. Also, NCOE is not being offered as a free DL with pre order. That could make a difference. |

There's a longer snippet on this site ! 8-) And it's better!! IDK if Amazon had snippet from original production, but this is noticeably different. Strong electronic instrumentals in beginning and his voice sounds clearer and more distinct than he had in all the other versions. Now I'm getting excited. I think it sounds great. Wow he brings his power vocal to a dancey-pop romantic tune - I'm loving it. |

Remember that we were waiting for some new music from Adam for a while, so of course we jumped on any new music he put out, (I'm not dissing I LOVED BTIKM, and still do). But it seems that NCOE is not a fan favorite, and with the album only a month away, some might not buy, and just wait for the album, ( and some fans are petty that he didn't pick their favorite so they might not buy) I hope it goes high on Itunes though, and with Bruno fans, it should help.. ETA: Oh wow just listened to the POPJUSTICE snippet! It packs way more of a driving punch then the unfinished version did! I actually like this a lot more now!! |

In spite of some questionable moves by RCA or the absence of them, I feel like everything is going according to the plan in Mr Lambert World. To be more exact, I choose to believe so If the single is going to be available on the 17th, are they going to make the video for it before the album release? I was thinking what the video could be like for NCOE and nothing came across my mind except Adam and the mic/micstand, with the camera minutely analyzing every particle of his fabulous physique, and nothing else. I mean, who could wish for anything else? I vote for full frontal! Yay for Kimmel, and all those going!!! ETA I'm under the impression that the NCOE lyrics have been discussed THE LEAST on this forum. There's not much to discuss, is there? They're quite generic and too general. I don't think that will mar the song's success, though. Just there're not many ideas for the video in them. Adam talked so passionately about BTIKM, both the song and the video. |

Re fanfiction discussed yesterday, I have always read a lot of books and I also do read fanfiction from time to time. If the people who offered links to Adam fiction still have them at hand, I would appreciate a PM. I have enjoyed some very good writing in different fandoms and on different sites as well as learned to skip and scroll a lot. I haven't listened to the snippets much but to me the new NCOE snippet sounds just like the earlier snippet. Piercing high voice dominating and some growling distorted bass coming to make a contrast. I am eagerly awaiting to hear all the track. (And now when I am ready to post I see there is a longer snippet that I have not heard yet...) I guess Adam will be performing NCOE on Kimmel already and that is also a version I am anticipating. Did enjoy the radio performances without the band and I am sure that it will be awesome live with the band also. Having been a fan of live renditions before I might not be as excited about the track but we'll see. However, I AM excited that there is a NEW single now and more radio play to come as BTIKM is slowing down. He needs to be on the radio for increasing awareness of his new music and the new album. The delay of the album launch did not do any favours to Adam in Finland and it seems that YleExtrem, NRJ and TheVoice have dropped BTIKM (theVoice plays IIHY, WWFM or FYE still every day). I also NRJ gets an interview before album launch (the Feb one got cancelled because Adam was ill in Stockholm). TV and magazines have done their share which apparently was planned to boost the earlier album launch, maybe some phone interviews to radio stations would help to keep the momentum. Anyway, this is not a big market and Adam will be so busy the next few weeks because after extensive radio promo in the US he has to cater many other countries too - and then there will be the US performances and TV. I guess he will be working non-stop with doing phone interviews and/or rehearsals... Still time to get BTIKM a good placement on the voting list and an extra spins during the weekend on YleX (who still play BTIKM regularly)... they might even talk about the new single and album when announcing. ylex.yle.fi/musiikki/soittolista
