Queen have announced two UK concerts in July, where they'll be performing with Adam on stage at Hammersmith Odeon. Better still, Sonisphere ticket holders will be given priority booking. Tickets will go on sale next week, first to Queen fans and Sonisphere ticket holders and then on general sale.

Sadly, I will not be able to go to London for this concert. I had plans to go to Sonisphere, but my sister invited me to go to Scotland with her in Sept., and I can't do both.
As much as I love Adam and would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be there, this trip with my sis will be very special, I don't get to see her much, and have chosen this trip with her instead of seeing Adam. I know yall think I'm crazy.
Hope there will be an excellent DVD to come out of this concert.

The band today announced that the highly anticipated pairing of Queen and Lambert will instead take place at London's HMV Hammersmith Apollo over two nights, July 11 and 12. In the announcement the band also promised to endeavour to give priority booking to those who had held tickets for their Knebworth concert. Tickets will go on sale next week, first to Queen fans and Sonisphere ticket holders and then on general sale. It has all worked out so perfectly before, but these new dates can't work. We won't even have WiFi those first days, most likely.  Still planning on going to London on 7/3, so we'll see how it goes ... So happy that we'll likely have Moscow vids, so at least I can load those on i Pad or computer. Anyway, YAAAY Kimmel and YAAAY for being back on ABC!!! I have tickets. It says it starts at 6:45, so I believe part of concert is live, but we will see more songs than will air. It's going to be tough for me to get there. I'm on deadline and can't take the day off. The earliest I'll be able to get to L.A. is about 5:30. I have priority ticket, so whoever goes might have to man a place in line. I figured all the CA peeps will try for their own tickets and then we can all take plus-1s with those who couldn't get one. |
