I am so envious of all those getting to go to UK concerts. and now there is a Caif gig on Kimmel. Everyone has to super enjoy their concert for all of us that cannot make it.!! I know you will that is why I love Adamtopia.
Question or clarification: Is the NCOE that will be released on May 17 different than the snippet that was first put out there with other snippets?
I really like the acoustic NCOE and I am hoping that "the voice" is prominent in the one that is released on the 17th.

Sometimes I think it is just really unfair that SOME people live in So. California. Susie: excellent time for you to learn to work and BEAT a deadline! So excited about this Kimmel show, and congrats to everyone that gets to be there! So jealous! Why oh, why do I live in BFE? Haha, I wish, but it's not just me. Several already overworked people have to pull things together in concert. (Pun intended) It's going to take some graceful maneuvers for me to get out the door while the rest of the crew is working away. I will get in office at asscrack of dawn that day and work these next two weekends to try to get ahead. ETA: lifeisnow2 I think NCOE is released on April 17, BB – next Tuesday. |

WOW It's all coming together.. OMG I'm just so excited. Adam will be all over not just here ,but all over the world. Adam is going for International super stardom. It's not just about American radio,although it's very important.As far as the politics of music in America,everything in life is political. It's all who you know and how you work the system. Adam is a master of both. He's going for the brass ring and he needs us ,his fans. Let's put aside our own favorite song,etc. ,come together and show Adam the force is with him.. Come on "Let's GO" To Add: knocking Bruno Mars is like knocking Adam.IMHO, they are the two top pop male performers of today. Remember they were both vying for the same grammy. Bruno is a mega talented singer/songwriter and he is doesn't seem ego driven or insecure. He's able to praise Adam as another talented artist and he's able to share the spotlight. Know many singers who are able to do that? THIS !!!!! |

My point is that I would think that RCA would want to build some awareness of NCOE before releasing it for sale, in order to maximize sales. To get decent sales, you need to have more than stans know about it. I'm just surprised that it looks like NCOE will be on sale even before any radio stations start spinning it. But I don't think announcement fanfare is enough to push a non stan into buying it out of the blue, I don't think it works that way. Most people need to hear a song several times before they click that button to buy it. I mean, sure it would be great if there was a big splashy premiere, I won't argue with that. But I don't think it's vital for the long term success of the track. And whatever they do is really dependent on the rollout strategy they've laid out that we're not privy to. A few weeks on radio, before the sale, is the normal way and the way RCA has done every other artist but Adam. :-/ It is very weird for them to release it for sale and to radio around the same day. The only thing I can figure is that they are counting on us, to drive the i-Tunes position up so that radio immediately latches on to it. It was impossible on Dec. 20th due to the holiday freeze, but this time it just might work! If we get it into Top 20, like we did with BTIKM, and the 5 stations he is doing the Spring concerts for start spinning it immediately, it could move up the sales charts and the radio charts fast! Please, from my fingers to the Universe's ears! Please!!!  |
