What is everyone all het up about? Put the pearls away. Performance was fine, he sounded great, looked great got exposure to huge audience on TV in nice young man role. Win win win.
Carry on.
haven't read last 42 pages, just want to say, could hardly recover from performance because of all the texts I was getting.
1. sister who hasn't uttered Adam's name since AMAs, not that she's a music person anyway, but texted me 3 times and couldn't believe how HANDSOME, her word, she'd never say HOT, he was and that his voice is better than she ever heard it (Idol 2009)
2. old roommate from Key West who doesn't mean to be, but is a bit homophobic (S African and very rigid at age 41) so never big fan, more Kris. Texted 7 times flailing, 3 of those mentioning the glambulge, not by name, of course, more generically, but wanted to know if it was always there. I sent her Urban Dictionary page and few photos plus random pics.
3 Best friend's daughter, socialite, mom, ha, ha - who DID use
the word HOT and asked if I still had the ACOUSTIC EP I had offered her, which she sweetly declined, a few weeks ago. I hate to give one of my remaining away, but will do it for Adam. I'm sure when they bury me, I will still have "extras just in case"
There are more friends showing up on email and text, so my informal deduction from
all of this is that lots and lots and lots of people were very nervous about the glitter and the glam, but now are putting that aside and admitting what they have been missing.
I'm going to go back and read what I've missed, but just from my personal experience,
ALL WIN.
