Can you believe that I'm just now finally going to actually watch the show. I feel like I've been on an emotional roller coaster all afternoon. Fortunately, the ride has ended on a very positive note and I think I'll be able to wallow in the WIN!!!! (I won't look at S. Tyler) Hope some of my friends that think I've gone off the deep end will be watching. One comment about Jame's height. He may be taller, but I bet his feet aren't bigger.  |

Mika - agree! I really liked that slight rasp to the song. Sounded meatier (rockier?)... and sexier! I liked the lower key tonight...a lot... |

After the Steven Tyler concern tonight I thought this part was interesting. I could read his lips. ”Wow,” he said. “It’s an honor to meet you!” Steven, 62, didn’t seem too ruffled, but clearly enjoyed meeting Adam as well. |

Well, I don't post here often, but I just have to state that I am really disappointed at the nit-picking of Adam's performance,especially in the early posts tonight. I understand that so many people on this forum have seen Adam perform that song hundreds of times so y'all are holding him to a much higher standard. And everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I respect that. I am so proud of him, he was gorgeous, seemed relaxed to me, really, really delivering lyrics that mean the world to him, and the vocals, as ever, superb. Wonderful performance, it was plain to see that he was so excited to get that message out. So happy for him.

I'm headed home now. I feel like I did after the AMA's. I just checked all the comments from the East coast - most of them said TRAIN WRECK so I didn't even watch. I couldn't sleep that night. Am I wrong? If you weren't a fan, what would you have thought? What are you talking about if I may ask ? I was following on twitter (am on West Coast) and there was major LOVE for the performance! ??? |
