.read from bottom kirstinbenson @phantom_Mirage he totally was! After all the stuff james said about not being @adamlambert he was sure stoked to see him. Whew. That's all for now, glamberts. I will write a story about@adamlambert tonight. Stay tuned. Thanks all for reading @adamlambert is showing all the fans love. Waving to them. He has to go . @adamlambert is in awe of steven. "Its an honor to meet you" he said to him. Steven likes his necklace. Adam and james are still chatting!!! Wow. Now adam is coming up to hug j lo. And he's meeting steven for the first time! He's ditching his mic. Sipping some smart water (I think). Hugging the idolists. All of them...even james. They are taking a pic together. . Adam and Ryan Seacrest chatting. Randy goes up and gives him a hug. J. Lo and steven stay back. . Adam seems thrilled to be chatting with J. Lo. All the Idolists clapped with that high note, James Durbin is kind of reluctant tho. U can tell its tense with him. . Only see j los head. Steven sitting back listening. Randy nodding his head in approval. Audience captivated by Adam. . Loves the crowd though -- he smiled really big when the crowd cheered his name again. Randy is leaning in...really interested. He's very serious. Quiet. Blck blazer. Tshirt. Jeans. Omg adam lambert!!!! Crowd is nuts!!! He's sitting on stool twitter.com/kirstinbenson

MP4 download of Adam's AI 10 performance of "Aftermath" from the YouTube. 2011--03-10 Adam Lambert - Aftermath _ American Idol Live Performance.mp4 www.sendspace.com/file/vheoxsOT but I got a virus on my computer a while back and after the guy from Norton got rid of it he told me not to download anymore. Is there a secure way to tell if a download will be safe? I feel I'm missing out on all the Adam downloads. :(

OK, Adam got a little squeeky. He does that sometimes when he's nervous or pumped up. It was not his best performance. But I love him and it was still very good, especially by the end. Maybe he was a little nervous performing in front of Steven? OK people, I've just woken up (3.30AM here) and listened to the clip; I was a bit scared to do it after quickly scrolling through your comments;) My first thoughts- he looked beautiful, thought he was kind of nervous but I'd say hid it pretty well; sounded...beautiful, though was flat on some parts and sang with very short phrases, as if he were short of breath- I'd say it's because of the nerves. Also, his riffs at the end, beautiful although I thought he did one more than originally planed and therefore almost lost his place and forgot the ending sentence-you can see it's because he's kind of nervous-maybe it is because of Steven Tyler, Adam is so humble and was probably a bit apprehensive meeting him and then singing in front of him for the first time. All that said, I don't believe most people will notice it. We are all so invested in all he does so probably pay a bit more attention than the average viewer, and further, an average viewer generally doesn't have the musical ear for all those nuances. I.e. last year, I thought he was way more nervous performing on Idol and the performance sounded a bit of a mess to me when I first heard it and was prepared everyone would trash it, but as it happened, I've never ever read even one negative comment, rather the opposite And now, when I listen to it, I think he never sounded better ;D It's all good:) It was still 95% better than what other artists sound live and I believe reviews will be great tomorrow. And I've almost choked from how many people were cheering him on during and after the song and how noticeable it was!! Must have been very emotional for him as well, how do you handle all that adulation, I ask you? By being a bit shaky what he ultimately sounded like to me, and that's why I love him so much He's a real person, whose emotions are visible on his face and demeanor and I hope he never loses that. IJFLHSM G'nite all, must sleep now, have a very busy day tomorrow-love you all BTW, how did Ryan introduce him?and did he say anything after?

I think that it is not that just that we really love Adam and are super invested in him that causes us to be so sensitive to any possible flaw in anything he does, real or imagined. it is in my opinion possibly the fact that some are just so used to the hate thrown at him from within the Idol world on a daily basis that perfection is craved at every step to give no purchase to the hate. The vast majority of the 24 million people who just watched him on Idol have no understanding of this and just saw a gorgeous sexy man with an incredible voice sing a lovely song with bongo drums and a cool band. Having said all that, I thought he was PERFECT......of course, I am three martinis down Yes I think that this is definitely it. We're so enamored by the voice, and know how beautiful it is, just want others to be able to acknowledge the same. And I am so bad at getting my thoughts across, but yeah I agree with you

I thought that was a great performance. I loved it! I think for those of us who've seen him perform this song so many times on the GNT, it's natural to start comparing and certainly this version has a decidedly raspier tone. The high notes are sung kinda like a "rocker" would, with more grit and less purity. But JMO, I don't think that's a bad thing. As crazy as it may seem, there are many people who don't like / appreciate the purity of tone that many of us here gush over. They prefer the raspier rocker sound. Most casual viewers wouldn't know about the gazillion GNT versions and as a stand-alone performance, it ROCKS!! But what really sealed it for me was the ending. I was all "Yeah, this is great! I like it! Wooohoooo high note! Werk it!! Then BAM! OMG new ending......so soft and tender and sincere. And with that beautiful tone. <<Sighs and melts>> I need to watch it again!!!"

Ditto Also she makes me hungry and that is wrong as I am unable to stand and forage, much less obtain a tasty burrito :( But do you have furniture? Uhm.. I have a hotel room? Furniture sooon. (I can just sit on the carpets until then - they're all piled up. Levels, I'll just do levels...) And beef is fiiiine! I do not care for the fish. (I am a lapsed vegetarian - very lapsed.) :-[ I hope Adam is happy tonight. He did a lovely job and deserves to be proud. (I like to picture lots of the more confused Idol watchers muttering at each other "oooh, I like that one! Which one is he? Let's vote for him. Berber!")
