I know the album sales for iTunes are minimal. Walmart & B&N look good although I'm a little disappointed in the Amazon #. We have to keep in mind, though, that the album has been available for quite awhile. Since it was originally scheduled to be released in March, many of us ordered it months ago. Those numbers aren't reflected in the current chart position on Amazon. It will rise again when NCOE starts being played on radio, and when Adam begins TV performances, and those sales will be added to the preorders. It's just going to keep on building! |

We have to keep in mind, though, that the album has been available for quite awhile. Since it was originally scheduled to be released in March, many of us ordered it months ago. You're right of course. I can't remember the peak position but the sales are accumulative and sales should be good by May 15. I think ppl ordering now are the more casual fans. iTunes for 11am ET: NCOEOverall - 49 Pop - 22 TRSPOverall - 37 Pop - 14 I couldn't find TVOL on the top 1024 iTunes list? Did I miss it? I'd like to see how big a bump he gets from his performance tonight. I see Free is still in top 1000 at 975. |

Neither Free or TVOL have any Top 40 adds, though. They have all been HAC. I have kept track of all the Idol bumps, so I will be sure to note this one, for TVOL, as well. So far, JD has had the best bump. |

Haley has had the best bump for a single performed on the show. Her song stayed in the top 50 for a week.

Somehow, I don't consider something that is not out as a bump. I would still consider JD's the biggest. And his album went to #19 and is still in the Top 200. Just recentyl dropped out of the Top 100. |

Haley has had the best bump for a single performed on the show. Her song stayed in the top 50 for a week. But that was release week. Brand new, no album out. Somehow, I don't consider something that is not out as a bump. I would still consider JD's the biggest. And his album went to #19 and is still in the Top 200. Just recentyl dropped out of the Top 100. JD's album boost was good, not as good as Scotty's who went up 11K after his performance. I was referring to the single sales. Durbin's HTH didn't even sell enough to be in the top 200 for the week, where Haley's Free did. Haley's single stayed in the top 50 for a week after her AI appearance. (I don't think Adam's BTIKM even managed to do that. It went higher, but it dropped off faster.) Scotty has had the best album bump at 11K and so far Haley has had the best single bump. I believe Scotty is next as far as singles go, at 15K. JHud is next with a 13K gain. |

If we're talking percentages KA has a good chance to get a big boost since he's selling so little. I don't think a huge jump in % means all that much but that's what fans latch on to.
Like album sales & the dreaded Idol "sophomore slump". It will be much harder for Adam to have a bigger % slump than KA since he sold so much better originally. I have no doubt at all that Adam will sell WAY more albums but if his drop % is higher that's what Idolbert's will jump at.
Do I care??? HaHaHa - NO!
