Does Glee sell well also outside the US? Anyone knows? Yes, but the franchise's power to sell music has faded -- here is the GLEE Cast discography. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glee_Cast_discographyThere is not indication that it will magically recover this year. And since they picked ADAM's date, I hope the DIE!! Wow, they released 7 albums?!? Isn't that over saturating the market just a tiny bit? Thanks for the numbers, Q3! I guess at the end of the day, it's about how much you sell altogether, not just in the first week, isn't it? I got a feeling Trespassing will continue to sell for a long long time. ETA Thank you tigerlily!

Does anyone have the dance songs as their very favorites? With so much love for Underneath and Broken English, I've kind of been afraid to say they are not at the top of my list! Sorry! Nor mine! I do really like them but Shady and Naked Love are just out of this world I love all of these, but Underneath have a hold of my soul.

Trespassing is STILL my favourite song. I think the new car smell is giving the others a bit more attention at present.....but Trespassing stole my heart the very first time I heard it during the Austrian Snowcase. Shady and Kickin In are right up there too. Ballads are gorgeous too....Haha! It's kinda hopeless trying to pick favourites.

Is anyone else having this anxious feeling? The closer we get to the release date the more I feel totally bonkers. I want everything for Adam. Can you just imagine being him, waiting for this album to drop! I accually cry when I play these songs. I'm soooo excited! I think I've lost it!

9 reasons to love Adam by Q3 is stupendous and I love the dichotomy of fabulous downtown London and WilkesBarre for its blue collar appeal. Something for everybody and in a lot of cases the ability for all of us to see and appreciate locations we would have not otherwise seen.
Adams need to have the energy flowing in communing with people as NoAngel points out in her usual eloquent way, always reminds me of his infinity sign. His need to connect in many ways just reinforces why we are so attracted to him.
I do not listen to pop radio very often, but yesterday in my effort to want to hear NCOE on the radio, I listened to a station on my computer for 2 and half hours ( Adam played within 25 minutes of start time)until they went into repeat mode. I rated each song as it completed, honestly. Some songs really touched me, some were not to my taste, and some were WTF???
All I can tell you Adam's song was a complete standout. First it was the effortlessness in his voice, he enunciated, his voice was strong, the message was understandable and the melody different. I was a little miffed that NCOE was chosen as the second single, but after hearing it in its element of Pop radio, I feel nothing but great success for this song. Although I would have loved either Shady, Kickin In or Tresspassing ( my favorites), I can feel it in my bones now that NCOE will provide the success and be the setup for his next single, where he will explode.

ETA Thank you tigerlily! EXACTLY! Like I said, Glee's songs and cds fly up AND DOWN the charts quickly. It's a karaoke show like American Idol. They are multi-talented kids that are just singing cover songs. The ones leaving the show will have (or already have) careers ahead of them in movies or on Broadway. They are not musical artists. Glee is down 3 tenths of a point (which doesn't say burnout) possibly because it just came off of a seven week hiatus. This is typical, it usually takes a week or two for viewers to get back into things once a show has been off the air for close to two months. American Idol always does better than Glee! It does better than any other show on Fox. It's been the ratings leader on Fox for years. (although it is down by about 30% this season)

I'm not very interested in picking a favourite song (who am I kidding? I couldn't if I wanted to!), but what I am interested in is, which song do you think will last? I mean, if they were all given an equal opportunity as singles, which one (or more / if any) of them would stay and become a classic? The same way that, say, Play That Funky Music is a classic?

I think Glee is musical theater only on TV and it probably brought music back to some who were not daily listeners. My son's niece is in love with Glee and its cast of characters and buys everything that comes out, goes to the shows etc. Her and I have talked alot about music at family gatherings and yes alot about Adam. When I told her to google him she did and said WOW he's good. His music should be on Glee ;D Anyway, I understand her better than her parents, she's obssessed and so am I!By the way, she's thirteen. I think Trespassing will be in her little hands on May 15th.
