I just hope Trespassing can go top 3 drop week. I would love for it to open above 100K sales, but that will be tough. Maybe he could do 80-90K? I do think a lot will depend on the amount and the quality of promo he gets that week. He has really good management, so I feel pretty optimistic. eta---sorry if this has already been covered, but,is there an add date for NCOE yet? Thing is, we have NO IDEA what the promo is going to be. Adam, DMG and RCA do. And I don't for one minute think they have been sitting around planning nothing during the postponement. How can you possibly hazard a guess based on what we don't know? Full-press promo is still a couple weeks away and plans have been kept wrapped up tight. Add to that, what are sure to be very good (I will hazard excellent, because I truly believe that's what the work deserves) reviews that will also drive the buzz and awareness big time. Already, Jimmy Kimmel tickets have been sold out, more added, those sold out, more added and those sold out. This does not happen very often from what I've been able to gather. In the few weeks I've been keeping track of the website, this is the only outdoor concert that has sold out, much less with three or so additional waves added.

Can someone tell me when Adam was last seen? Hmmm, I was going to say last Saturday when he was out with the BB Melvin (bit of stubble) and was photographed with the fanboy and the old friend kissing him, but I just went back to the Sunday thread and couldn't find the pics (I could of swore I saw them first thing in the a.m., so I didn't read further than about 10:00 a.m. my time). Then I thought maybe it was Friday night, so I checked the Saturday thread. Didn't see it there either. HALP! Gelly!! When was that? atop.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=tres&thread=802&page=2#207555

Interesting... Old, but new to me: YT Video by lilybop2010: Adam Lambert in studio w Virgin Radio's Billie 1-25-10. Original video disappeared after uploader closed account. Awww love that one! Pretty androgynous elves! lol! Also I love the way he answered her when she asked him if they kissed with his date . He said "non of your business" but in such a cute way!

RCA seems to be moving very slowly with the promotion of NCOE. But they were very slow and methodical with Kelly's album and that worked out well: Kelly - MKIA released September 5, 2011, album released October 21, 2011, Stronger released January 17, 2012 -- the big single trailed the album release, I am not saying that Adam and Kelly have anything in common except for RCA, nor expecting that Adam will have a hit as big as Stronger, but the promo pattern is similar. And it was an amazingly efficient what to promote Kelly's album. Looking at this and several other recent RCA releases, Iwould not be surprised if NCOE has an impact date of May 15 or later. If Adam is on Idol May 17th, then my money is on May 15. I'll have to do a bit of digging next week. ETA: SusieFierce --- you are so right. The Kimmel show tickets are impressive -- it also will look/sound great on TV. Wilkes Barre is almost sold out on the presale. One thing is clear to me, Adam/RCA did not do the massive US Radio road trip without having a plan to activate it. There is a plan, we just don't know what it is. ETA #2: thanks for Adam-spotting info. I wanted to know who big Melvin could be.

Is this true?
Tweet by @oshi4real: FYI - For First Week Reporting to Nielson Sound Scan, NCOE must be bought/gifted by Sunday night at Midnight. Happy shopping!

Q3, you could be right. RCA is certainly in no hurry to get NCOE moving. Since we haven't had the drop date announced, I will go with your date of May 15th. Maybe they are hoping for buzz from huge add numbers drop week to help the album. They might as well wait, really, since it isn't like the song is going to be anywhere near where it would need to be radio-wise to drive album sales anyway. May 15th might work well.
No gloom , but I am SO frustrated with Chicago KISS. I just want Adam to get a good reception at the Fantabuloso concert. The other artists have had big radio hits. It's a great opportunity, but I wish they would play NCOE so the audience might gain a little familiarity.

Yes, Soundscan sales week is Monday thru Sunday for most retailers, Sunday thru Saturday for a few. The two big digital retailers, iTunes and Amazon, are Monday thru Sunday midnight. ETA: bullsfan -- I never worry about Adam getting a good reception for a live performance. Never. He knows how to connect with an audience. And there will be a ton of Adam fans at the Chicago KISS concert.

Isn't that what we are all doing- guessing based on things we don't know? That's what we have been doing for weeks, actually years. lol That's what fans do on fanboards! Q3, you could be right. It's a way to let the album drive the single which, if it does well, drives the album. :)Three weeks won't be enough time for much to happen with NCOE anyway. It will be even better if Adam is for sure performing on AI on May 17th!
