Still erked that slimefeld managed to shave 100K away from FYE and pocket it. I will always contend that FYE sold 930K and matched Kelly's previous album rather than the 830k Adam currently has on record. I'm a total tool for this, but if you're referring to the bastard album, I didn't know it had influenced FYE sales? Ignore this if it's totally stupid. And now, the important stuff: your NEW AVI:))) It's cute as a button! Is that the old one? |

RCA seems to be moving very slowly with the promotion of NCOE. But they were very slow and methodical with Kelly's album and that worked out well: Kelly - MKIA released September 5, 2011, album released October 21, 2011, Stronger released January 17, 2012 -- the big single trailed the album release, I am not saying that Adam and Kelly have anything in common except for RCA, nor expecting that Adam will have a hit as big as Stronger, but the promo pattern is similar. And it was an amazingly efficient what to promote Kelly's album. Looking at this and several other recent RCA releases, Iwould not be surprised if NCOE has an impact date of May 15 or later. If Adam is on Idol May 17th, then my money is on May 15.I'll have to do a bit of digging next week. ETA: SusieFierce --- you are so right. The Kimmel show tickets are impressive -- it also will look/sound great on TV. Wilkes Barre is almost sold out on the presale. One thing is clear to me, Adam/RCA did not do the massive US Radio road trip without having a plan to activate it. There is a plan, we just don't know what it is. ETA #2: thanks for Adam-spotting info. I wanted to know who big Melvin could be. Why would they postpone the album, so that they could get another single to radio to help promote the album but not send the single to radio untilt the week the album comes? Sorry. that makes absolutely no sense to me. I sincerely hope your prediction about that is wrong. It will outsell the last 8 albums because it is a sentimental album and all Gleeks will have to have it. It is not only Graduaion, but 1/2 of the cast of kids is leaving. On the RCA promo strategy -- I have no f'ing clue what they are doing. All I know is that the impact date is not this week -- so that pushes it to May 1 at the earliest. On Gleeks -- you may be right. The album will have the Glee version of Fun on it which sold well on iTunes. And several tracks will be debut on the final show of the season. So I guess it depends on how good they are. If they have a couple more hits, I will be wrong. But the Amazon presale is at #192, there are no comments about it on Amazon. And a finale with Lindsey Lohan, Perez Hilton and Rex Lee -- looks pretty dismal to me. I guess I do not see the passion about Glee that I saw a year or two ago. ---- I still want Adam to have a #1 album -- that means Carrie fans have only two weeks to buy her album then take a week off, Adele just needs to slow down a bit and I have to root against Glee Graduation. There is not much more competition. Whatever else, Adam should be able to have at least a Top 5 debut. And I still think that #1 is possible. |

Omg! I just watched a movie based on a true story. It was about about Gwen Araujo, a teenage transgender woman who was brutally murdered at the age of 17 just because of her sexual orientation... This makes me think about that sick society... Very very sad  |

There may be another UK Queenbert show. From Brian May's blog -- April 18th -- Just to follow up … I have talked with our promoters about this. It seems there is nothing that can be done to stop this awful opportunism, because there is no law against it. I understand representations have been made to the present government, but without any kind of success. Until there is a law against selling tickets for more than their face value, no action can be taken. It's appalling ….as are many other abuses currently going on unchecked … makes you dream of a Nanny State, doesn't it !! The man in the street is NOT being taken care of. Apologies … I wish there was something I could do.
