Saw on tweeter: @ melirose89I made a screencap of Gaga's audience from the You & I Kimmel performance from helicopter view looks like 5-8K ppl I don't think this is 5-8,000 people. That would be bigger than what all levels of The Nokia hold. It is definitely more than 2,000 though. They closed the street behind the audience for Gaga. They won't do that for Adam....... yet! Maybe next year! I looked it up. Gaga was 2,000 people. I wonder how any tickets they add everytime they expand?

But they took down the fences that block the lot and opened the street behind. So I'd say it was more than 2,000, but not 5,000.

Ok...I'm definitely having a brain fart right now, I couldn't figure out how to turn a gif from my personal folder into an avatar here (and, I'm a web tech student...shhh, don't tell my teacher). Anyone? thanks in advance! :-)

AdisaM thanks for the info! I forwarded to a friend from work who missed out the first time around. She just texted me saying she got them! She knew about Adam from idol but hadn't heard about him since. I let her hear some snippets and pointed her to a vid from NNN performance. She came back and said "wow, he is an incredible live performer!!!" She had been mentioning wanting to go more live performances in general, so I had told her about Kimmel. Well she had originally thought she had gottened them when she signed up and when we checked again it was already sold out. Thanks again! usagi, I have been curious about what kind of tickets the new ones are everytime they expand. Can you ask her if they are Priority, General, or Standby? Thanks! mys*&@^#r I just asked her. She said General. AdisaM I also just saw that it is sold out again! Thank you again for posting it here at Atop

Yes, I think for a huge number of people Adam IS new. I was just thinking the other day that the only reason I ever heard of Adam was because he made headlines with the AMAs. I had to see what some "American Idol kid" had done that was "lewd." I couldn't imagine. I never thought someone on that show had anything to offer me. I figured all the acts on that show were square and manufactured.
I loved him and within a few months was hooked on him. I still don't think he's made a big splash in the public mind outside the Idol bubble. I don't see any comeback -- you can't come back to something you never had. I see building on his passionate fan base to expand his audience to another level. I'm excited. People want good, authentic music. It's happening!!!

This video is for San Diego Glamberts who went to the evening Radio Promo. @ 2:10 is a must see. www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPxikfRwsCw I didn't even know my friend was secretly taping one song, Cuckoo, using the top of my chair as a camera support. The video is shaky because I was shaking my body. ( This radio station told us not to video tape. They were supposed to tape everything & upload it to their site, but whatever the reason, their professional photographer bailed on taping at the last minute. :-/ Too bad because he sounded great (as usual) with no mic. )
