myspenser - do you think KA sold less than 2000 since BM didn't list it? Is this for last week when he got the Idol bump?

I know for albums, Brian only gets the top 200 unless it is Christian, Country, or Daughtry (he has a source.) I'm not sure how it works for the single numbers he gets? He did get JD's number. So, IDK, what that tell us about Kris. Although, I am sure we will soon see plenty of reasons at emjays

content.usatoday.com/communities/idolchatter/post/2012/04/idol-downloads-clarkson-underwood-lambert/1#.T5hmq7NYt6KIdol songs Kelly Clarkson, Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) (89,000, -26%, 2.895 million) Carrie Underwood, Good Girl (51,000, -21%, 688,000) Adam Lambert, Never Close Our Eyes ( 29,000, debut, 29,000) Jennifer Hudson & Ne-Yo, Think Like a Man feat. Rock Ross (21,000, -15%, 154,000) Read more... How is NCOE debut sales measured up with BTIKM for first week? I think BTIKM was @ 39,000. What do the savvy Numbers peeps think? I think it's pretty good considering the free DL's with album preorder. Tiptoeing into the #s thread... Wasn't BTIKM also a free d/l? YAY!! Glad everyone is happy with the 29K!

I'm sorry to be a downer, but don't we want top 40 adds here in the US? If he only gets HAC adds once again, won't we have the same scenario we had with BTIKM? I want to see him get top 40 adds here, not just in Canada. What will it take? I don't know, I'm just frustrated that radio is such a struggle for Adam. Kinda what I was thinking. And supposedly this is the song radio picked. But, there is no need to panic until we at least get an adds date. Just looked around All Access and Pulse and couldn't find one. I can't complain cause my HAC station in Dallas has been promoting the HELL out of NCOE. It's frequently in their tweets. Top 40 stations here, not a word. I keep thinking that radio WANTS Adam to be an HAC artist and that it has a lot to do with what they feel is Adam's demographic, older females. That is a stigma when it comes to Top 40 radio. - I am really curious here hence why I am asking this; how do you then explain Chris Rene from Xfactor currently charting on POP if you say Radio is trying to box Adam into HAC or do you probably mean the Xfactor demo is different from AI and if yes, do you have stastitics to back up this? And my other question is how is Adam perceived to generally have more older fans when we have seen some of his radio visits pictures and the pictures have most times shown a diverse fanbase? Thanks anyone, but especially to Sage whose thot I am trying to understand.
