Well, No, because those facts are wrong. RCA did not file for bankruptcy. They just restructured because their CEO left. Every artist has not been pushed back. As a matter of fact, if we are discussing Idol people, Daughtry was pushed up This is what I found. There was an article that went with it somewhere, which of course I can't find now. >:( "In early 2012, Sony Music was sued by record label employees, due to a $500000000 bankruptcy from a record label bidding war. All of their owned labels such as Epic Records and Columbia Records were shut down alongside Jive." Maybe they escaped bankruptcy by merging and their massive lay offs? ??? Daughtry took two and a half years between his last albums. It may have been rushed along at the end to get it ready for Thanksgiving sales, but RCA has clearly slowed down or pushed back all their major artists. Daughtry and Kelly normally had a two year window between albums. This two and a half year span is a new thing for RCA and it has been the case for Daughtry, Kelly, Cook and now Adam and Kris. Chris Brown (everyone's favorite ) cd has been pushed back from 5/8 to 7/3. This is the second time they have pushed CB back from an announced date. RCA has pushed back pretty much every major release since Daughtry's, Kelly's and Hot Chelle Rae's back in Nov/Dec 2011. They have pushed back Leona, Monica, Posner, Adam, Brown (twice). All had previously announced release dates. Alicia Keys was expected to release late last year as well but did not. It is a pattern. mys*&@^#r: I am looking!! Maybe the company was threatened with bankruptcy, so they closed down certain divisions and merged to avoid it? I don't want to start something that isn't true, and this may not be true at all! I read it a while back and remember thinking that explained why they always seem to be one step behind. Epic and Columbia were not shut down. Arista, J and Jive were folded into other Sony labels. Epic has just been taken over by L.A. Reid and Columbia is Adele's label so definitely not shut down. All this restructuring was in the works from way back in 2010. Doug Morris came in in July 2011 but all of this was known and being reported on before the end of 2011. And yes just about everybody except Daughtry has been pushed back in one way shape or form even if it wasn't announced release dates being changed. I still say Daughtry move up when they made the decision to push Adam back from November and they needed to fill the slot. Kris was originally supposed to have something out in Q4 of last year but we never heard anything definite. In January Joe Riccotelli said Kris would have a CD out in Q1 but they only managed to get the single out then. I think they held off announcing Kris release date until they knew for sure it wouldn't change but there is plenty of evidence that the initial target date was earlier. Even the single was later than Kris had said on twitter.

content.usatoday.com/communities/idolchatter/post/2012/04/kelly-clarksons-mr-know-it-all-hits-the-country-top-40/1#.T5WSO6v2arlApr 23, 2012 Kelly Clarkson's 'Mr. Know It All' hits the Country top 40 By Brian Mansfield ... Other Idols in the top 40 of one of USA TODAY's airplay charts: Lauren Alaina, Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson, Casey James, Adam Lambert, Mandisa, Ruben Studdard and Elliott Yamin. Adam's Never Close Our Eyes makes its debut on the American Idol airplay chart this week at No. 87. Three stations have picked up Adam's single early: Alice@97.3 in San Francisco; 98.5 KRZ in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; and Mix 102.9 in Dallas. ... 11 13 Adam Lambert, Whataya Want From Me (1314) 14 10 Adam Lambert, Better Than I Know Myself (1089) (#23 Hot AC) 72 78 Adam Lambert, If I Had You (90) 87 NA Adam Lambert, Never Close Our Eyes (40) When listening to BTKIM, I often thought it would make a good country song, lyrically. The "I need you now" line makes me think *gag* Lady Antebellum. With different production, Adam could have a crossover. I would like to see Adam invade the country.

Here is where that quote came from....a Facebook post that was deleted but survived in Google:
Sony Records | Facebook ... Sony Corporation of America, the United States subsidiary of Japan's Sony Corporation. In early 2012, Sony Music was sued by record label employees, due to a $500000000 bankruptcy from a record label bidding war. All of their owned label such as Epic Records and Columbia Records were shut down alongside Jive.
It is a Facebook page that is not an official Sony page.
So all round bogus.

Re: The Poll
I voted for BTIKM because I love that song, but then I went back and voted for NCOE. It was a dilemma. My favorite is really FYE. I still listen to FYE to this day alot. Adam's first album was one of the best albums I had in my hands in years when it came out. It will always be one of my favorites. I am sure Trespassing will take its place someday. I just love Adam, and every note that comes out of his mouth means something to me.
I want to go out of this life listening to Adam. I keep telling my husband that my last thought is going to be of Adam Lambert. I have had thoughts of my husband for over 45 years. Enough is enough (ha).

PopCrush @popcrush READERS POLL: What is your favorite @adamlambert song? Vote here: popcrush.com/favorite-adam-lambert-song-readers-poll/FAVORITE ADAM LAMBERT SONG – READERS POLLby: Cristin Maher While he didn’t end up winning Season 8 of ‘American Idol,’ Adam Lambert is well on his way to becoming a superstar with his signature style of music, amazing vocals and riveting live performances. On top of this, Lambert also has a loyal band of supporters (nicknamed ‘Glamberts’) who cannot get enough of his songs, which is why we want all of you Adam Lambert fans to vote for your favorite track from the eyeliner-rocking vocalist. more.. Is there an organized effort going on to vote for the new single, NCOE? I find it difficult to believe that this song is the favorite Adam Lambert song. I often do not bother with polls but I was truly curious about what songs were in the running. They are the official singles Adam has released so far. I know a good fan would vote NCOE because that is what is being promoted, but I couldn't do it. (FYE, baby!) I think the fact that I don't much care for this song is a REALLY good thing. It means it will be a HIT! Come on, is NCOE your favorite out of the songs listed? honestly? Yes, I can believe that NCOE might be the favorite single from these five singles. It is my #2 to FYE and right now I am enjoying NCOE more. So I could vote for it. Anyway, my favorite Adam songs will never be singles. Broken English is my reigning fave Adam song.

I see what you mean:) I had a dilemma: my favourite of those is FYE, but I voted for NCOE, to support it because it's his current single. I feel that doing that is more important than showing what my favourite Adam's song is. But I almost did vote for FYE That being said, I think NCOE is a great song and it is very different from FYE, they are just incomparable. This is the current situation: 'For Your Entertainment' 16.29% 'Whataya Want From Me' 14.16% 'If I Had You' 11.33% 'Better Than I Know Myself' 10.91% 'Never Close Our Eyes' 47.31%

Out of the choices, "Yes" NCOE is indeed my favorite! Could be because it is new though. When they have a poll that includes, Fever, VooDoo, Shady and Kickin In I will have a harder decision!
