;D Isn't this HSM's child? ;D Can't wait for Hoppers to see that! I love it! Have told several of my friends about Hopper's daughter singing that line and they have laughed hysterically!

PopCrush @popcrush READERS POLL: What is your favorite @adamlambert song? Vote here: popcrush.com/favorite-adam-lambert-song-readers-poll/FAVORITE ADAM LAMBERT SONG – READERS POLLby: Cristin Maher While he didn’t end up winning Season 8 of ‘American Idol,’ Adam Lambert is well on his way to becoming a superstar with his signature style of music, amazing vocals and riveting live performances. On top of this, Lambert also has a loyal band of supporters (nicknamed ‘Glamberts’) who cannot get enough of his songs, which is why we want all of you Adam Lambert fans to vote for your favorite track from the eyeliner-rocking vocalist. more.. Is there an organized effort going on to vote for the new single, NCOE? I find it difficult to believe that this song is the favorite Adam Lambert song. I often do not bother with polls but I was truly curious about what songs were in the running. They are the official singles Adam has released so far. I know a good fan would vote NCOE because that is what is being promoted, but I couldn't do it. (FYE, baby!) I think the fact that I don't much care for this song is a REALLY good thing. It means it will be a HIT! Come on, is NCOE your favorite out of the songs listed? honestly? Yeah! Surprised me too! I voted for BTIKM because at the moment it is my favorite of those tracks... I like to go with the moment and all the new stuff is more exciting than the old. ;D But, it is nice to see NCOE getting the attencion it needs since people want it to be Adam's biggest hit ever...

Adam has a brilliant album coming out. But, if they want more than just his core fan base to hear it, he is going to HAVE to conquer radio. And both Adam and RCA know this. That is why he went on an exhausting 18-city radio tour, that is why he is doing a bunch of radio concerts next month (including one for a station that has basically ignored him, but is in an important market) and that is why they postponed his album in order to record some last minute radio-friendly songs, including one by radio's current darling Bruno Mars. This isn't angst, it is just reality. Adam has a great album, but pop success is what will lead to opportunity---opportunity for people to know it's out there, opportunity for Adam to get the exposure he needs by performing the songs in front of more than his established fan base. NCOE is a great pop song. I have a lot of confidence right now, and things are going to be getting vey exciting in a couple weeks. Not trying to jump on you, but it really irks me when people say this. Almost the whole album, or at least half is radio single ready, so I just wish people would stop acting as if the album was bad, and they had to go back to the drawing board to add in more "radio friendly" songs, because what he had wasn't good enough. And damn, the Bruno song was there for awhile before the delay, they just touched it up, like Adam had said, pretty much what he has been doing all along with the whole album; rerecording different vocals, getting different producers to get the songs to his satisfaction. Sorry, I just hear this a lot with nonstans with there passive aggressive comments, and it just gets under my skin. .. is being radio friendly "good" or "bad"? Obviously "radio friendly" is "good" for radio exposure that apparently leads to sales. However, to TO ME "radio friendly" = generic, watered down, not interesting musically or lyrically = "bad". I tend to think that Adam had a killer line up, and was forced to add BTIKM (early)+make it a single and NCOE (late)+ make it a single...these replaced his songs, that were probably killers like all other songs he has written on. BUT, it added "radio frinedly" songs... ... is that "good" or '"bad"? Q3 comment: Let's be careful not to make assumptions. We do not know that Adam was "forced" to record anything. In fact, he sounded very excited to work with Bruno in more than one interview. I agree that many people have concluded that these were label selections for him to record but that does not make it true.

103.5 KTU @1035ktu Listen as @adamlambert joins @paulcubbybryant & cindy_Vero at 7:35 tomorrow morning and they play his latest hit "Never Close Our Eyes" ! yay! ----------------------- The poll was a toss up for me between NCOE and FYE, as personal favorites from the list. I finally went with FYE because I think I'm partially experiencing 'new shiny song' syndrome. But for sure I like NCOE more than the other single choices besides FYE. --------------------------- Who knows what RCA is going through internally but outside observation seems to show two things 1) a lot of recent releases have been delayed. 2) the releases and pushes to radio of several singles are almost ALWAYS later than fans expect/want it to be. ;D. I just take this as a given, the parameters we are working with, not something to worry or angst over any more than stressing that the sun doesn't move across the sky faster. It's slower than some might wish, but it's moving in the right direction. That's why I wish fans would keep steadily requesting both BTIKM and NCOE over time. My local station has only started to play BTIKM a bit more recently. We can't control PD's decisions about when to spin a song or cut back on spins, or RCA's decisions about when to push and how, but we can show steady, polite, consistent interest in Adam's new music directly to the PD's and DJ's themselves.

Here is where that quote came from....a Facebook post that was deleted but survived in Google: Sony Records | Facebook ... Sony Corporation of America, the United States subsidiary of Japan's Sony Corporation. In early 2012, Sony Music was sued by record label employees, due to a $500000000 bankruptcy from a record label bidding war. All of their owned label such as Epic Records and Columbia Records were shut down alongside Jive. It is a Facebook page that is not an official Sony page. So all round bogus. I didn't get it from a facebook page, although the place I got it from could have been using this quote. Who knows? It could all be bogus. IMO- Sony is still messed up, due to restructuring, changes at the top, mergers, the music industry in general, etc. All of these changes are having an impact on their artists in one way or the other. They definitely have extended their time between album eras. I think they are just trying to catch up in general. I also believe their intentions are good, especially with artists like Kelly and Adam, but intentions and having the people to carry out these intentions are two different things altogether. They are lucky with Adam because he generates a great deal of media and opportunities just because of who he is. People are interested. Kelly is the same way with opportunities. It's artists like this who have the best chances when all the resources in the past are not available to them. That's what happened with Kelly and I believe that the same will happen with Adam this album era.
