COOL! I sent an IM yesterday requesting it and I just got an IM from the radio station saying they'd play NCOE. I logged online to listen to it, and there came a remix of WWFM! So I was a little WTF, thinking they lied.  But it sounds like they'll play NCOE in a couple of minutes, AND they just played WWFM! Yayyyy!!!!!! |

There is a gal, that is a waitress In Las Vegas, that imitates Adam. Saw a vid once, where she she dressed and looked almost like him and was singing in one of the casinos on one of the bar stages. I wonder if this is her?

YAY!!! Playing right now!!! The DJ said "probably the most requested song today, and he is going to be at KTUeuforia!" And they played the voice of a caller who requested, and she was all cute, and she said "Thank you so much KTU" and she wasn't cray AT ALL!!!

this is sort of what i meant when i said i was a bit surprised adam responded the way he did considering he advocates post gay. (Adam basically agreeing the "community" is resistant.) He was being interviewed by a gay magazine...He tends to address gay issues when he speaks to gay media. I'm sure they ask questions to steer the interview towards the subject...It does seem only normal. You'll notice he talked "fashion" in Fault..... I'm not surprised at all. edit/ Haha! Is that impersonator a girl? Kinda looks like it. yeah i get it is a gay magazine and he had a question to answer, duh. but i think he is stirring the pot when he used the term catty. look how it is being picked up by other news sources. and we all know how things can be twisted. Adam has mentioned diversity in the past so he MUST know there should exist no standard to what the "community" accepts or resists. How specifically does he consider himself being resisted? he has been on the cover of OUT and advocate and on their list of influentials, interviewed in multiple publications and media outlets. I think he has had great support. ok there were some remarks/criticism along the way, but that is typical with any celeb. What are we looking for here? |

Adam is firmly in the "gay second" category. By that I mean he tries not to let his life revolve around it, and I'm the same. It's the mindset of "it's just a sexuality". There's a lot of gay guys who are "gay first" though, spend their life shouting loud and proud that they're gay from the rooftops, campaigning for rights, hitting back at homophobes and very conservative people for example. That's fine but people like me and Adam don't get too deep into it. Sure he made the It Gets Better video and Outlaws of Love but for the main part he just puts it on the side and leaves it to other people, because he's happy in his own sexuality, believes that in the grand scheme of things sexuality doesn't even matter that much, and prefers to just stick to the music. Sadly lots of the "gay first" people don't like that kind of attitude, they see it as a "betrayal" of sorts. Quite sad really :( I am not sure if this is a proper question, if not let me know and I will delete: I have been thinking that how Adam and Sauli are seen by gay people, are they, or one of them, considered generally attractive men, like we women here in Atop pretty single minded seem to think? I have got an impression, that Adam is not seeing himself that beautiful, but seem to appriciate how Sauli looks like (obviously:). |
