Hi everyone, still exhausted from my day going to watch Adam on Kimmel. I will try to write a longer recap later and post it on the Kimmel thread, but for now: 1) OMG. Adam was AMAZING (no surprise). But he was. He just so exuberant, rock god, sex on a stick, all at once. 2) My recruit, a friend I brought with me to the concert, loved it and had a great time. I think (hope) we have converted her. 3) My husband, who is a glambert in his own right, gave out a little squee and kissed me afterwards and said he had so much fun all the wait was definitely worth it (we lined up at around 3pm). 4) Had a chance to meet many Atop peeps. You are the best.  5) to those of you manning the forts back at Aop yesterday. I don't do twitter, so I actually was reading the thread at Atop while waiting in line. AND I knew that you would bring any news, vids, or pictures as soon as they pop up. Thank you!    |

Were Adam and the divas on a different key on the first verse of NCOE? Adam sounded a little sharp to my ears in the very beginning. I thought so, too, but couldn't decide if it was just because I wasn't expecting it to be pitched so high compared to the studio version? So they're only going to have NCOE and TP on Kimmel's site? I'm having a bitch of a time playing the clips elsewhere, and now am trying to get used to Chrome. I am one slow-assed learner, let me tell you... Hmm, not sharp to my ears. I think the harmonies work really well together. And actually, the studio version is pitched slightly HIGHER than the Kimmel performance. |

Forgot to mention that I moved to the back right before Adam came out. We were literally being crushed in the area I was in and I couldn't even move my arms. And I wanted to dance my ass off! Which I did! Anyway, the point of this post is to say, I got a real surprise when I moved. 1st) I saw where the family all was. and 2nd) The back was LOADED WITH YOUNG GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P (Neil's girlfriend, btw, is adorable. She danced her ass off for every single song. She was trying to get Neil to dance too, but he was being much more conservative. She was dancing like she was in a club after several shots!) Wow, really? I'm interested in this. Tell us more! |

I just heard all these songs that IM2718 posted with good earphones! I had to turn it way down, it was blasting my eardrums.
The music is phenominal!
You must get good earphones to hear these songs, I didn't know what I was missing till now.
I have not weighed in on my favorite song from Trespassing, but right now I am really loving Naked Love. Such a fun song with a great dancy beat, Adam was having so much fun singing this.
I could see this being a huge hit.
I respectfully disagree with those that think this song's lyrics are too racy for radio. They are fun and not really very suggestive, IMO. i mean I don't think they are explicit.
Bring it on!!!!
Adam was simply the BEST EVAH last night!

wikipedia has Usher listed as SNL musical guest on May 12. I was really hoping it would be adam. oh well, there's always the fall season. :-/
