I think it's unlikely that your age is stored somewhere that anyone is paying attention to. Personally I like to include my zip and city because it shows I'm local. I also add additional songs because it shows I'm interested in several songs on their playlist, i.e. I'm a real listener. I do fudge my age a little (just in case LOL). But I request locally so I think it's important to add zip code. And I always request 2 or 3 more songs. I put my real age (50+). It may mean my request is discarded, but on the other hand if the only Adam requests they get are from 20-somethings, any human with some knowledge of his fan base will know what's going on. So I'm sacrificing my requests so that other Glamberts' requests will be counted lol.

I do think PDs look at iTunes numbers/chart position. I actually think this is a BIG piece of the radio puzzle. They notice what is in the top 50/20/etc.
I think RCA may be banking on the album drop promo (AI, morning shows, whatever else) getting the song "up there" and then radio may add the following week.
Should we be worried at all about HAC?

I went ahead and asked on PULSE what the source is for the airplay numbers they are reporting and was told it is the Mediabase numbers. So if we subtract his HAC AI #'s from that overall number we should get his CHR AI #.
So Overall is 2.141 less HAC of 1.194 gives us .947 for CHR AI unless he has spins on another format that I haven't heard about. I think that's pretty good considering he only has a few pop stations spinning right now.

Should we be worried at all about HAC? I remember when BTIKM was in the top 20 on HAC, there were at least 5 songs above him that were lower on itunes, and even a couple like the Mraz and Mayer songs that weren't even in the top 1000. I am puzzled now why the new Script songs is still moving up the charts when I haven't seen it in the top 1000 when itunes still had those numbers. BTW, I was tracking this on kworb's daily updates. Some people say BTIKM didn't catch on because it was slow. I don't get it because A Thousand Years and even Mraz's song sound slower to me (and not very interesting).

It didn't catch on at CHR because it was slow but that had nothing to do with HAC. I really think that RCA, even though they had Adam doing the radio tour didn't push hard for BTIKM airplay. I think once it was apparent that radio was going to make them work for it they probably focused more on building for the next single than on pushing BTIKM. I think definitely by the time it was clear the song would hit top 20 HAC they weren't too worried about pushing that one forward and were building excitement for the next one.

Those two songs are slower than slow! Both of those songs have no melody and neither of those singers are a fraction of the vocalist Adam is! It's not like they have tons of hits either! I just don't get radio PDs and DJs and how they come up with their "super special list" of who gets played and who doesn't. There has to be something "else" there that is holding Adam's radio play back. Duh! : Now, the info on Twitter where the DJs on CHR are "waiting to see what it does on the charts". WTF? Which charts? Itunes? HAC? CHR? >:( There some stations in every format that don't add songs until they have reach a certain level on the charts. For example my Top 40 station in Orlando doesn't add until songs get into the top 20. There are only a very few exceptions usually that involve some co-promo deal or something.
