I use Real Player. It is free. Go to real.com and download the program. Then when you play a video online a little box appears and you click it to download the video. You can also make playlists. There are also lots of other features available including editing, but I haven't tried them. It also converts files. thanks, will try it |

and to add to the discussion. I don't think Adam came as "boy next door" Adam to win over new fans. It was because he wanted the focus to be on the lyrics and message of the song and nothing else. He can't help it if he is so beautiful that we can't help but be mesmerized by the way he looks  ITA!!!  |

I appreciate these comments, they make me feel better. I've been kind of bummed out at the reaction to Adam's look on AI even though it's been positive and I understand why the look was appropriate for that situation. I don't want Adam to feel like he has to look like a boy scout to succeed. I fear the overwhelmingly positive comments may push him in that direction, but I hope mys*&@^#r is right and I shouldn't worry since he likes to change things so much. I think what got to me was that even many people who have loved Adam all along have expressed how much they love the "clean" look. So surprised because I love his other looks so much more. That was Adam changing it up, like he did week to week on AI. He hasn't forgotten who he is. He just wants everyone to see all the permutations. The "clean" look is who he is; the "wild" look is who he is- as are all the looks in between. I love them all and enjoy whatever he is doing in the moment because before too long passes, he will likely get bored of whatever look he is doing and do something entirely different. This current look is beautiful to me, not because it is "clean," but because Adam looks so happy, and that, added to his naturally great looks, is a powerfully attractive combination. Oh, and it is always good to see him look spectacularly healthy. ;D Whatever he wants to do is fun for me, which is good, because I think that Adam will not choose to ever be confined within any box, be it a "clean" or "wild" or "glam." He likes to reinvent himself too much and likes to keep people talking. |

Opps,screwed that up. Just want to say I totally agree with you, Rama. And let's not forget how business savvy Adam is. He wanted, IMO, the conversation to be about the song and the cause, not about what he was wearing. I think he accomplished that. I almost wonder if it's also symbolic of the kind of "stripping down" he is doing emotionally as he writes his album. He's repeatedly said he wants it to be some variation of real, raw, primal ... In other words, an authentic, deeply personal album. It seems like he is connecting with his authenticity as part of that process and is ready to really explore it. It does seem to be working because he is radiating joy, happiness and positivity even more than usual (which means A LOT!). Maybe he finds stripping away the costumes, which he loves (and we love), is part of the "getting down to the core" of who he is and what he wants to say. I'm thinking that if he was "attaching" himself to a look or style, that might subconsciously affect where he is going and he really wants it to evolve organically. I have read the entire thread to this point and your post speaks the most to my feelings. He has said in interviews that his next album will be less "camp" with a more "real authentic personal feeling and story" or something to that effect. I think those who want him to be only "Mardi Gras" OTT or only Idol toned down are in for disappointment. He is both of those and so much more. As someone mentioned upthread, perhaps the next tour could be "leather and Lace." That sounds intriguing to me and totally different and still 100% totally Adam Lambert. And Adam in leather is the stuff my dreams are made of...  8toinfinity said: I think his Grammies look was the best of both worlds coming together.
