If I really wanted to talk about an issue that bothers me, I'd bring up the fact that Adam announced publicly that the backups singers' nickname is the Vajayjays. But I don't want to add more dissension to the board today, and I'm hoping that introduction was a one-time thing. But fair warning to other board members, if he mentions it on stage again, then I'm gonna go OFF! yeah, Misha, this really bugged me too, but I haven't mentioned it. I am afraid to say that Adam will use this constantly, as much as he introduced Tommy as "Pretty Kitty". I think he thinks it is cute and funny, and apparently the Diva's don't mind. I do, and think it is demeaning, but I am not them. Unless there is a twitter outcry that Adam catches wind of, I'm afraid we will be stuck with it for the tour. Adam is not always subtle when it comes to sexual humor and my guess is that The Vajayjays name is here to stay. (this is the man who felt compelled to explain where "iceberg...just the tip" was!) When I first heard him introduce the girls on Kimmel, I didn't hear it clearly and I thought he said The O'Jays, which was the name of a old great Motown group. Then I realized what he had actually said and thought it was really funny because it SOUNDS like it could have been the name of an old Motown group, like the Marvellettes or the Chiffons. Ladies and Gentleman, Adam Lambert and the Vajayjays! Still makes me giggle.

And perhaps I'm a hypocrite because I enjoy a little (certainly the wrong word in relation to Adam) penis talk and photos from time to time. I also think the female body is beautiful. However, I find it degrading to verbally reduce women to a body part on a public stage, especially black women, who are historically sexualized--not to make it a race thing, because I'd be upset no matter who the women were. I'd feel the same way if he called his all-male dancers the Peen. It ain't cute. I think it's tacky and demeaning. I understand where the Vajayjay name may have originated from, given that the singers add another shot of estrogen to the group, and maybe it works in a private rehearsal room. Maybe the ladies even came up with the name, I don't know. But it's a bigger issue than just them and impacts more than just them when he's announcing it on a public stage in front of thousands. If Keisha or Octavia now, or ever, feel uncomfortable with that moniker I hope they know they can approach Adam about it or just ask him to call them by their names instead and not fear that he'd be bothered. I don't think he means to objectify them and I think he'd be the last person to ever take offensive at that request!

Just a thought on the video...extras, right? Wonder if Sauli will be in the video? (just a tiny glimps perhaps) I actually never realized until recently all of the people 'friends' that were in the IIHY video. I'm slow, I know, but when Adam is on the screen. I see nothing else, but him

I think you are investing it with much more signficance than it's worthy of. IMO.

I'm not going to call these ladies that name, unless I'm 100% sure they are wanting to be called that in public. It may have been just a name used in the rehearsal room that made it's way outside the room. IDK yet and so I'm not really sure how I feel about it at this time. I'm not criticizing Adam or others for using the title, it's just something I feel like holding off on, at this time. :-/ I'm in a wait and watch mode! lol

Hope he rethinks this & comes up with a different name. It really did not sit well with me when he said it. Love his sense of humor usually, but not the frat boy thing.

you should be able to highlight the URL link, then click on the "Tube" icon in red, and that should make the YT appear in the post. If you go back and look at the content of your post (hit "modify" your post), you will see that the YT bracket is not in the front of the URL, but twice after the URL. Hope this makes sense. It took me a long time to learn to read the codes on here. On the other hand, sometimes they just don't post right, and I don't know why! youtu.be/FZB3srUEFZ4this is what I got when I clicked on the link you posted: is this what you wanted to post? Beautiful! Yes it is! I agree-it´s so beautiful! Thank you for you help
