Y'all are missing ARMS. #teamarms #armporn (pretend there is a picture here of Adam in a vest from either gnt or the idols tour showing off his gorgeous sculpted arms. Maybe with a bit of sweat...did i type that out loud? Oops.) Do these count for arms & sweaty? ;D Those totally count! I was watching some old idol tour videos last weekend (had the house to myself and several uninterupted hours of berting time) and I realized that, as esthetically gorgeous as Adam is looking these days, I find him slightly more OMG UNF-Y with a bit more meat on his bones. (and arms, of course. Yum!) But he's stunning no matter what.

Watching Adam sing this song reminds me of Katrina on the Voice last night singing "Killing Me Softly With His Song." If I knew how to imbed videos I would find Roberta Flack's "Killing Me Softly" and play it for you. It just reminds me of how Adam makes me feel when he sings. "Killing Me Softly" is one of my all time favorite songs. Back in the "olden days" (ha) Ms. Flack played in a bar in DC. I didn't know at the time what she would someday become but it was a joy to listen to her back then in such intimate surroundings. Reminds me of all the lucky folks that got to share evenings with Adam at the Cabaret (sp). ETA: the name of the bar was "The Attic"

Words are such inadequate things when it comes to communication. The connotations they suggest to each of us are so much a part of our unique backgrounds and experiences. Then throw in second language differences and the fact that we can't hear the tone of a post or see the body language with which it is delivered and what happens?
Broken English.
We are still stuck with using words because we want to connect and to be understood, even on this board. We have feelings, deep and shallow, lol, that we want to share with other like minded listeners.
I love people who listen to my feelings along with my words.
One thing I'm pretty sure of is that we all feel love for Adam considering we spend a gazillion hours ~fair~ amount of time here.
One thing we love about Adam is that he shines when and * how * he wants to shine. That doesn't mean we will all like every "how", or even every "when", LOL, but we like that spirit.
Adam is Adam is Adam is Adam.
Like on the board sometimes, when Adam's "how's" don't match my own, I just kind of scroll on by, knowing he'll be speaking my language in the next instant, sharing feelings that do connect, ones I can translate easily into the network of my own experience.
In an interview recently, he said that music is his favorite way to communicate his feelings. I loved that. Sometimes, when I am feeling things intensely, music is the main language I hear inside my head giving voice to those emotions.
I would love to have a voice like Adam's and to be able to let that all out so expressively!
