I've never cooked it only eaten it raw. I put it in the blender...a big handful of curly kale and a handful of baby spinach, one apple and one orange and a little apple juice to thin it a bit. It makes a pretty green smoothie. (the fruit improves the taste). It's not as much trouble as using a juicer and I don't mind the pulp/fiber. Do you peel the orange but leave the skin on the apple? I need to go find some juicing recipes since I bought a Vitamix about a month ago but haven't used it yet. :  This probably belongs on a different thread but, like Midwifespal said.... #itsadamsfault!! ;D You're going to love your vitamix! I had mine in the box for 2 weeks before I started using it, and now I use it several times a day. If you want recipes using Vitamix, go to youtube.com and put blenditandmendit in the search.. she makes her smoothies and videotapes them, posting on youtube and has over 200 vids. Check out her website: www.blenditandmendit.comETA This isn't juicing because juicing extracts the pulp, whereas blending with Vitamix retains the fiber. And I really need my fiber!  To bring it back to Adam.. he juices his kale. |

LOL. I peel my apple , cuz I always do, but it doesn't matter. You can use any fruit you want or have on hand. I always have apples and oranges in the frig. I do add maybe a third to half a cup sugar free apple juice which makes it even sweeter and a little thinner. I also always add spinach to mine for an extra pop of healthy.

I think in the case of Adam and Keely, it also includes worldwide sales becasue those are the only 2 who have ventured out nd done well worldwide. Keyy has had 11 years, Carrie about 8 or 7 years, so Adam is doing well!!!!!!! |

Kelly is already first so adding her international sales wouldn't make a difference and Adam is too far behind Jordan for his to matter either. Adam's international single sales probably come to between 1 & 2 million and Jordan is over 5 million ahead. |

No the site clearly states these are digital download totals in the US these are ONLY the singles and doesn't even include the physical singles. This is the description posted above the list. These are the total digital download figures in the US for individual Idol alums. Physical single sales, which totaled 4,798,000 units, are not included in this table |

To anyone who Adam has inspired to start juicing (or started before Adam's health kick): Is a Vitamix worth what it costs, or would I be just as happy with a regular juicer? I know the Vitamix is top of the line, but $400+ is a lot of money to me. Would really like some opinions on this. |
