I don't know why Adam said in the EW interview "When we wrote Naked Love" but he's not on the writers list for Naked Love. I guess he doesn't mean it literally. ASCAP doesn't list him as a writer for Trespassing though so it's not the most reliable thing anymore. ASCAP is very reliable --- often people work on songs but do not get a writing credit and vice versa. The writing credit is often about money distribution not creative effort.

I just looked up Lisa Marie Presley - I actually had no clue she still had stuff going on - and her new album drops on May 15. So it makes sense that he would perform on Idol the same week as Adam. For me, the big question however is: who is going to perform first, and who last (the better performance slot)???? I hope Adam gets to perform last. So far, except for one (& I can't remember who) all the Idols have performed first.

So I guess Coldplay did two songs on Idol tonight. Can we just dream for a bit that Adam might work the song Trespassing in also. Oh Please!!! I have to say that the new snippets especially Runnin and Take Back make this rock guy pretty happy that they lean that way! YES, PLEASE! Trespassing and NCOE! Or NCOE and _______ (fill-in-the-blank, there are too choices to list) I agree Kanadie, the songs that lean more rock are a great addition! Several posters at MJs were mentioning that they missed the rock, so now there is a little something for everyone! Plus, you know Adam can't help but rock his songs up a bit when he starts doing them live, so there is always that to look forward to!!!!!!!!

Not sure if this been posted here. buzzworthy.mtv.com/2012/05/03/adam-lambert-dirty-group/Star Spotting: Adam Lambert Shares A Dirty Photo (Literally)by Byron Flitsch Adam Lambert gets dirty in a recent photo. We LOVE everything Adam Lambert, like how his hair totally defies gravity and how his falsetto could take down Celine Dion's in a heartbeat. We're even obsessed with everything he's obsessed with (well, we are now)! So it's killing us not to be 100 percent on board with what's happening in this postapocalyptic-Dust Bowl-IDGAF ensemble he's sporting in a recent photo. What's with all the dirt, guys? Adam tweeted the dirty pic along with the caption, "rebels on the run. 'It only gets better if we want it to.'" While we're not sure what the beginning of the caption really means (we can only imagine it's something about rebelling against clean laundry), we've listened to Adam's "Never Close Our Eyes" enough to know the last part of the caption is a lyric from the song. So we're guessing the pic was snapped on the set of the new video for the newest Tresspassing single. (Adam recently tweeted that they're currently filming it.) Either that or Adam's attempting to make dirt the next big accessory trend. Hey, we live in a world where Lady Gaga constantly wears outfits made of hair -- (apparently) anything can be can fashion.

Ohhh so late with this, but I'm liking the new snippets, but Nirvana sounds the best to me, of that new batch. But I have to say that I'm glad he hooked up with Pharrel and Sauli and changed his sound around.
Take Back and Runnin sounds more pop-rockish to my ears, in the same vein as WWFM, and I hated WWFM, so I'm glad with the he went with the new direction and sound.

I loved her dress but not the song so much, yet the judges stood up for her. Hmmmm

So Adam wrote Underneath too? OMGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!! That's why we said it seemed so Adam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IKR???? Every time I played that song I thought 'I can't believe someone else wrote those verses, they are so him!' (not as much the chorus). Even thinking that, it was still sooo moving. Now that we know he had a hand in these words.. Strip away the flesh and bone Look beyond the lies you've known Everybody wants to talk about a freak No one want to dig that deep Let me take you underneath Baby better watch you step Never mind what's on the left You're gonna see things you might not wanna see It's still not that easy for me underneath Welcome to my world of truth I don't wanna hide any part of me from youI'm standing here with no apologies Such a beautiful release You inside of me Didn't he say the bolded part was one of his favorite lyrics?

The snippits are pitifully short and really hard to judge from, but I love Nirvana from what I've heard, for sure. Need to hear more of the others. But they sound significantly different than the main album tracks. BRB sending flowers to Pharrell...
